Pavlik JG (1919-1989)

Mr Pavlik escaped from Czechoslovakia in February 1949 and eventually after three years in Austria arrived in London. Here, in his own words recorded in the book “Life and Labours of J G Pavlik”, he recounts how in the providence of God he was led to Beulah Chapel, Ponsard Road in London. He joined the church and was sent into the ministry from there. Later he lived in Manchester for ten years, and then moved to Harpenden to live, and worked on cancer research at the Medical Research Centre, Mill Hill, London until he retired in 1984. He continued in the ministry until a few weeks before his death on July 11th 1989.
