[0:00] Let us commence our worship this morning with hymn number 407, the tune is Eshtail 332. Dear Lord, my panting, sovereign flame, to spread abroad thy matchless fame, and with a solemn pleasure to tell, the grace which saves from death and hell, he is pardoned for all sin that's past, the matter not as lack in the past. [0:34] You know my soul will wonder for you, for sins to come, he is pardoned for you. 407. [1:00] Thank you. [1:30] And with a solemn prayer, the grace which saves from thy death and hell, he is pardoned for all sin that's past. [2:05] Kingdom I just found And I would like to tell you If I would like you I would like to call toward this door » Man, what's great out of me? [3:02] Thank you. [3:32] Thank you. [4:02] Thank you. I'll read this morning from Psalm 107. [4:28] I'm reading down to verse 20. Psalm 107. O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endureeth forever. [4:43] Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy. Gather them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. [4:58] They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way. They found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. [5:12] And they cried unto the Lord in their trouble. And he delivered them out of their distresses. And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. [5:27] O the man would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works of the children of men. For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. [5:41] Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron. Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contend, the parents were the most high. [5:55] Therefore he brought down their heart with labour. They fell down, and there was none to help. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble. [6:08] And he saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and break their bands in sunder. O the man would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works for the children of men. [6:26] For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. [6:40] Their soul have poured all manner of meat, and they draw near unto the gates of death. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. [6:55] He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. We'll leave it there. May the Lord bless the reading of his word, and help us now in prayer. [7:10] May the Lord bless you. May the Lord bless you. May the Lord bless you, and harm you, and bless you. May the Lord bless you, and you will miss you. May the Lord bless you, and you will miss you. May the Lord bless you, and you will bless you, and셋 the Lord bless you. [7:25] May that Jah more gracias. May the Lord bless you, and your best love you. May need you voice a voice, and letzten you up to me! to think of what thou did suffer in redeeming thy sheep from the curse of the Lord. [7:41] We have our problems, Lord, our knowledge through thy journey that we wanted to sanctify and endure and have a little compassion upon the sufferings of Christ and the wonder and hope that it was done for us. [7:59] All the humiliation and thy judgment was even taken to a season. This was that pain in my human body that thou had to suffer. [8:10] And yet thy deity, Lord, remainedeth the same as thou was born of God. I was the only begotten Son of God, full of grace and full of truth. [8:22] And in all thy sufferings, all the insights, all the far and dark that were our names through, for all, Lord, to be accountable to thy people. [8:34] And they must be taught to mourn over their sins, that it might become more and more a burden for them. And they might, Lord, be led to bring their heart things to thee. [8:48] We don't come, Lord, just to sit in the house of God because we think it could right and proper things to do. But we come, Lord, we pray with a hope that all our sins, past and present and future, might be blocked out, that we might truly be exercised in our minds, having received the work of the Spirit, to be born again by the Spirit, to be quickened into life, and to realise, Lord, it's not a normal life, with a wonderful favour to meditate upon the wonders that thou hast passed through. [9:30] And ever will be, Lord, recorded by the earthly names, that thou went to the end of the law to make it right and make it honourable. That human heart, Lord, that had to stand such fiery darts, a naughty one. [9:47] That human heart, Lord, that laid down his life for his friends. And he says to ask you, my friends, if ye do, what's that I command you? [9:59] Don't leave us to be deaf, Lord, that I command us. Do make us willing in the daylight power to seek that nearness to thee, that humility, and that grace, Lord, that becomes true believers. [10:14] With nothing to bring, with everything to receive, as we come to be intrigued by the liberty of the Spirit, and that spiritual boldness to the throne of grace, that we might attain mercy, and find grace to help in our time of need. [10:32] We realise, Lord, from the side that I've got a problem, and also, Lord, that God of all grace. And we do pray, Lord, for thy cleanse and health through the day. [10:45] These things, Lord, will be ready, will be applied to our souls. These things that we hear spoken, might also exercise our souls with true repentance, and be brought, Lord, into thy banqueting house, and thy banter over us below. [11:06] May our behaviour be becoming the place of God, that has given us the provision, may we not treat it lightly, Lord, the language of the hymn writers, that went through much trouble, and much more, Lord, of thy tribulation apart. [11:24] Lord, help us, Lord, to set our eyes upon thee, to look to Jesus alone for salvation, and to realise we all got a meeting one day at the judgment seat. [11:38] O Lord, do deepen the birth of grace in our souls, Lord, exercise us daily to confess our sins with broken hearts and contrite spirits, and wait for thee to say unto our souls, I am thy salvation. [11:55] For then, O Lord, can we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life revealed. But, Lord, we do need reviving. We do need confirming. [12:06] We do need to ponder the path of our faith, to consider our ways. Would thou not hear our petitions, Lord, the silent petitions of the rock of the earth, to know this real religion of God's elect, to know that when thou hast chosen us, even the phoenix of the election, in spite of all our fears, Lord. [12:28] They will send those healing touches. They will send those deliverances that we are so in need of to confirm our souls. [12:39] So do remember us, Lord, in mercy of the goodest day. We thank you for bringing us here. We ask you for help through the day. In pulpit and pew, we shall redound, not, Lord, to sympathy to a sinner, but the loving sympathy to the Saviour, where our sympathy should be with Jesus, who bore the curse for his chosen people. [13:06] Lord, make us right and keep us right, Lord. Exercise us daily, but know how the case stands. And don't leave us, Lord, to glory, to glory by ourselves, and glory in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. [13:25] And we do pray, Lord, that they will give us a man of up-to-do, to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ. And do strengthen us again, Lord, in body, those of us under thine afflicting hands, those who are absent, Lord, for much of their ease to ease. [13:41] And do bring back yet the prodigal, Lord. And let in the heart and marrow of their hearts that they begin to be in one, for some in solid and lasting, to eternal life. [13:53] For we're not very long here in this same world, according to comparison with eternity. For eternity's tremendous sound, and malefactors do desire us. [14:07] Do come, Lord, and build our churches up again, we pray thee. Do drive out the buyers and the sallows. Deliver us, Lord, from the foreign arts of Satan, that wicked one, whose ends, Lord, are to be eternal misery and out of darkness. [14:26] O come, Lord, we do pray thee. Do give our leaders wisdom. May they show, Lord, more evidence. Raise them up, Lord, to consider their ways, to consider God with all their times in his hands. [14:41] And even they, in their great power and showing us, Lord, of the flesh. Realise that their times and days are numbered. [14:52] And I do pray, Lord, and do yet raise us up. Government shall acknowledge thee. Instead of seeing, Lord, the driving away of those right actions, Lord, of believers, to believe on thee, to act honorably and uprightly in their part of even, Lord, to government, whether state or whether, whether, Lord, at Canberra. [15:21] Or where we see there's a lack, Lord, with the work of grace. Thou can change it, Lord. Or we do tremble at the thought of thy judgments upon this land. [15:33] But in wrath remember mercy, Lord, and turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, and call to thy face to shine upon this nation. Shine upon the sacred pages of thy word. [15:46] May the Bible be yet attractive to those in their home. We know it's gone the opposite way, Lord. But not able to resist the devil. [15:58] Not able, Lord, to revive that word. The reading of Scripture, the understanding of Scripture. Because thou must open the eyes of your understanding. [16:10] They must understand the Scripture and realize the fulfilling of those exceeding great judgments upon the earth. [16:21] Have mercy upon us, Lord, as we may should. And we ask thee now, Lord, to bless us with an oath being opened and speak of those glorious truths of the Gospel. [16:33] We shall find an abiding grace in our hearts, speaker as well. For we do need thee, Lord, to revive us. And do, Lord, in our poor petitions and pardon all our sin, as we ask it for Christ's sake alone. [16:49] Amen. Let us further sing, in 397, the tune is Webber 519. [17:05] In themselves as weak as worms, how can poor believers stand, when temptations, foes and storms, press them close on every hand? [17:18] Weak indeed, they feel they are. But they know the form of grace. And the God who answers prayer helps them when they seek his faith. [21:35] Prayer for the psalm 107, reading verse 19. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. [21:54] This is the pure word of God. This is for those that realize God's providence in our varieties of life. [22:07] And oh, there are many people today who do not believe in prayer. But I believe some of you, if not all of you, you will not know what it is to wrestle. [22:25] Prayer is the burden of a sigh. We cannot seem to get more than a sigh. Lord, help me. [22:38] Lord, undertake for me. Sanctify me. Sanctify me. These cries. Because, if we don't have real trouble in providence, they are the first steps to bringing people to believe in God. [23:00] And to acknowledge his word is true. That there is a throne of grace. We cannot see it, but we believe it. [23:12] Because we are bidden to come boldly to the throne of grace. That we might find grace to help in our time of need. [23:23] It seems a great day, which is a withholding of the spirit of truth. And many in Parliament acknowledge God. [23:38] Or they might say we've got to pray, but they don't know anything about prayer. Because they are living so comfortably and cosily with every need supplied and in abundance. [23:52] And lose sight of their need. Of crying out of the Lord. This is a privilege given to the Lord's dear people who are called by his grace. [24:05] And he commands the stormy wind and rays of it. And lift it up the waves of life. This is our mercy. [24:17] We have all these natural disasters. We have all these elements of the universe. The various storms of life. [24:30] The storms, the things around us. Fires that come. And cause much havoc. Because God causes it to come. [24:41] We never or seldom hear anybody talking about this is an act of God. For these things dear friends, a sanctified eye to you and to me, will bring you with a thankful heart. [24:57] That he's opened the eyes of your understanding. That you have been made to realize this needful to cry unto him. [25:10] And some draw near to that of the gates of death. And some of us wonder as we get old and infirmed as to what the future holds. And we have a hope. [25:23] And bless the Lord if you have a little hope. And this is the young and old. To believe in prayer. To acknowledge God in all your ways and find him directly in your steps. [25:39] You see man is so foolish and ignorant and unlearned. Until the Lord teaches him for a number of days. To apply his heart or her heart unto wisdom. [25:52] Though you seek to do well, you young ones. As you grow up and learn further education and so forth. That you might have an acknowledgement of God. [26:06] This is all the work of the Spirit. I realize this. And I do diverse varieties of life. The Lord will honor them and honor him. [26:18] And they deny him. And they will be lightly esteemed by him. You've all got to meet God one day. [26:31] What a mercy. To have a little hope in your soul. To be brought out of darkness. You see we're dead. We're dark. [26:42] In the way that we grow up. And that's the Lord. Changes our heart. Gives us. And renews our will. Return our feet as I am. [26:54] So we've come with a desire. Those situations that face you. You wonder how you're going to continue. For there is help laid upon one that is mighty to save. [27:08] And so you cry. In other words you come with weeping as he said. And supplication unto him. That he might reveal himself to you as the God of heaven. [27:21] And you're never too young to learn this. And this is our mercy. If the Lord is determined for you and me to believe and be saved. [27:34] That time will come when he opens the eyes of your understanding. And you begin to realize that God reigns. God is denied. So he is denied. Generally speaking by the world. [27:46] And there are these people that get together. That they won't have the Bible spread around them. The denomination. Spread around the land. [28:00] They won't have it to be spread in the schools. Because they have an atheistic view. And that atheistic view if it's not removed. Will mean they will perish in their sins when their death comes. [28:14] And they might come suddenly to a tragic end. And be brought into hell. And so the greatness to your friends of God. [28:25] In your day and age. For you and me to cry unto him. Come with weeping and supplication. Supplicating the throne of grace. Give him no rest until he answer you. [28:37] And make a way for you. Where there seemed to be no way. Because out of his love for your soul. He will have saved you. He will have bought you with a price. He will have eternally loved you. [28:49] And such to the end. That he has laid down his life for you. And that is a wonderful blessing. If so be. He has attached himself to you. [29:01] With a new heart. And he does it. And he has asked. Where should some of us be today. Have we not been. Brought into that time. [29:13] When the Lord touched our heart. And made us to realize. That he was the one thing needful. And in spite of our people. And in spite of our backslidings. And in spite of our. [29:25] Wanting to go our own way alone. The Lord has stopped us. In our mad career. And taught us. To fear his name. And so. [29:37] Then they cry. And in answer to their cry. He sends his word. And view them. He is able to heal you. [29:49] And some of you have healing touches. Some of you have been brought through. Some deep waters. Some foreign darks. Giving you the shield of faith. The helmet of salvation. [30:01] The sword of the spirit. Which is the word of life. The sword of the spirit. He enables a poor sinner. To heal this. And so on dear friends. [30:12] He governs your hand. In the striking down. The devil. In his fire regards. And his insinuation. [30:23] And you're going to strengthen the Lord. When he gives you the word. To comfort your soul. And you bless him for it. Because he's the good shepherd of the sheep. And you'll hear him. [30:34] And you'll hear him. And you'll follow him. And you'll know what it is to praise him. For his goodness. And he's wonderful. And I'm sure. [30:45] A lot of my older friends have these. Evidences of these. Of his. Of his praise. For his goodness. He saw you in the waste. [30:56] Hailing wilderness. He condescend to exercise your mind. And I trust mine. With that rule. Seeking the Lord. While he may be fair. [31:07] While he may be fair. You know what it's been to you. To be tempted by the adversary. Walking about as a roaring lion. Seeking the native power. [31:18] But he has brought you. To consider him. To consider him. And as I say. When you and I search the scriptures. And we read a little. [31:30] Of what he had passed through. Passed through. To redeem your soul. From the curse of the Lord. The curse of the Lord. But not many people realize. [31:42] They're under the curse of the broken Lord. Till Jesus. Reveals to them. That he stepped into their room. And their place. [31:54] And bought them with a price. And what a price. And he will humble you. To think that the Lord. Has chosen you. In the first of affliction. Bought you with a price. [32:06] He has eternally loved you. And I. He qualms you in their times. And. For those that shall reach. Their desired haven. [32:17] Because he has chosen them. In this furnace of affection. And this causes you and me. To have a broken heart. And contrition of spirit. [32:28] You weep. You exceedingly sorrowfully. Your sin. And as I have. To bear him. But they don't. And he speaks of. Sins yet to come. [32:42] Because if he pardoned your sin. After the present moment of time. You'll still be in danger. Of further sins. Because we're born in sin. [32:53] And show me iniquity. We were conceived in sin. We can never escape it. We can never escape it. That Jesus condescended. To suffer bleed and die. And care of the strength. [33:04] We need to be. Have it revealed to us. Of his sufferings. To know what it is. To know what it is. At times. To have a sorrowful spirit. [33:15] To know what it is. To mourn. Over those past offenses. That will pain your eyes. Brought to your remembrance. And you tremble. [33:26] You will tremble. I believe. At the force of those past offenses. Recorded against you and me. In their lives. For blessed be the Lord. [33:38] And so he says here. Fools because of their transgression. And because of their iniquities. Are afflicted. You see. [33:51] We have to learn. We get. Punishment for their sins. Or. Wherefore doth a living man complain. A man. A man. [34:02] With the punishment. Of his sins. And we've got to feel it. And it's not very pleasant. To. A soul. [34:13] That thinks. That he has been redeemed. Thinks he's had a promise. Thinks he's had a fear not. But you see. He's going to keep you and me. [34:25] Humble in the dust. If so be. There might be hope. There might be hope. Of your soul being redeemed. Because it is because of your iniquities. [34:36] Your transgressions. That you are afflicted. We read that many are afflictions of the righteous. But the Lord. Delivering them out of them all. For. [34:47] What a privilege dear friends. To be conveyed into heaven at last. In spite of your sins. That blotted out. To plunge in you beneath that pattern. [35:01] Of his sin of unenclined. And. This is what faith believes in. The substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen. That. [35:12] You are crying to the Lord. In your trouble. And. This. Salvation. Which is all of his free. And sovereign grace. Out of their distresses. [35:23] He sent his word. Oh. So. Favourite really. To have. An open Bible. We know. There are many. That are trying to undermine it. And destroy it. [35:35] God's word. Endures. Endures up again. All flesh is its grass. The grass liver. And. [35:47] The flower faded. But the word of the Lord. The flower faded. We witness it. We have a spring. We have a spring. We have a full summer. We have the. We have the. [35:58] The flower faded. But the word of the Lord. Is an enduring world. And he that endureth at the end. That shall be saved. Salvation. [36:10] What does it mean to you. And me today. It's the redeeming your soul. From the curse that you are under. As you stand guilty. Of breaking all ten commands. [36:21] Even if you've broken one. We need to be made to be. True mortals in Zion. Over their sins. And so he must raise the stormy wind. [36:35] Which lifted up the ways they're own. And. And. Then. They go down into death. Their soul is melted. Because of trouble. [36:46] I wonder how many of you know this. Your soul melted because of trouble. To be providential. Much more. [36:59] Soul trouble. Draught into that fear. That God has condemned you. Because you're under a broken law. And when he says. [37:10] There's no condemnation of them. That are not under the law. That are not under sin. But who by the grace of God. Have been taught. To number their days. [37:21] And to look to the Lord Jesus. For salvation. How shall we escape. If we neglect it. What a refuge then. For your soul and mine. [37:33] And you'll have cause to praise him. Whose wonderful works of the children and men. So what a mercy to be. More concerned. And more exercised. [37:46] In spite of your providential needs. Which we shall need till the dying day. To realize that God knows. And God will be inquired of. By the house of Israel. [37:58] To do these things for them. And we do need to know. That we're chosen vessels. Don't we? That have been eternally loved. And will therefore be that. [38:12] Good testimony given to you and me. That food mercy. That. That. As you do business in great waters. You see the works of the Lord. [38:24] The wonders in the deep. A blessing for it. That. He has taught you to cry. Into him. So the righteous cry. [38:38] For the imputed righteousness of Christ. To cover all your. All your. Problems. All your difficulties. All your iniquities. All your iniquities. Were. [38:49] A pledge. May I have loved it. Will never last in love. Yes. You will reel to and fro. And believe in the depths of your soul's trouble. [39:01] You will know what it is. To reel to and fro. Like the drunken man. Be at your wits end. And then you cry. You see. The true believer. [39:12] The true believer. Will be burdened. Must know how the case stands. How it will be with him. In the swanings of Jordan. Dread moment. The true mercy. [39:23] The true mercy. You get the victory. Through the merits of Jesus. He saved it. Not man. It's not the priest who can save you. [39:35] You might go and confess him. And then confess with what's different. And that's a delusion. God sends them. A strong delusion. That they believe a lie. And that's why the very few. [39:46] That believe the bible. And the whole councils of God in it. But through the mercy of God. Your eyes have been opened. I believe. And your eyes will further be opened. To know the truth. And the truth shall make you free then. Of that condemnation. What a mercy. [39:57] And you'll know what that wrestling prayer is that we sang of. Because wonders do bring relief in deepest strength. You see. It won't be a smooth path. There'll be something to try you. [40:09] In your pathway. And that's why you're not. And you'll know what that rest in prayer is. It will be a moment. In your pathway. And you'll know what that rest in prayer is that we sang of. If it wonders do bring relief in deepest strength. You want to be a smooth path. [40:22] But there's something to try you. you in your pathway and mine. Something make you conscious that you need to seek this anchor. [40:36] We shall have an anchor. I know what it must it is to anchor him to know the price and what he has done and what you hope he will yet do for your soul. [40:48] And out of love to him when he gives you tokens of his love, then you'll truly know what it is to receive his word that he sends. [41:02] You pray, send out thy light and thy truth. Let them lead me and guide me to thy holy heaven. Do rather I might feel the life of the Spirit in the sanctuary, that my gird the loins of my mind, that I might be sober. [41:22] This will be a sobering thought upon you if Jesus is revealed to you as the object of your soul's desire. Jesus crucify me. The thought of crucifying Jesus with your sins, your sins nailed to the cross. [41:43] The sins of all his dear people nailed to the cross. You'll be attracted to the cross. And your proud Lord do grant that they'll favour me to know something of this real God. [41:59] Weeping, sowing in tears that I might yet reap in joy. Being abundantly blessed to realise a little the manifested love of Christ. [42:14] Having loved his own that were in the world, he loved them to the end. He's manifested that love to you. It's to the end. In spite of your fiery darts and the wicked one, in spite of your doubts and your fears and rising. [42:33] In spite of the tempest power, it is all that temptation that you and I have to pass through. That we have to pray, Lord bring my soul out of that prison. [42:44] Speak comfortably to my soul. Reveal to me those exceeding great and precious promises that I might truly be melted down with the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, sown into you. [43:02] Reveal to me those who have filled that human heart of Jesus, that realise that knowing his deity, he had a human heart. [43:14] He was exceedingly sorrowful even unto death. But God raised him from the dead. He ascended on high and he led captivity captive, received gifts of men. [43:30] Yea, yes, for the rebellious also. Don't be surprised if you have rebellious spirit. He says rebellious though I still. [43:43] And yea, in love I took thee in my promise. I will fulfil. Don't we seek a promise. And if we've had one, Lord, do come again and give me another promise. [43:59] Confirm that promise. That I might have that witness and sealing of the spirit. That I am born of God. And that my treasure is of art. Yes, let man have their treasures upon earth. [44:13] But compare, compare, compare with Christ and all beside. No, come in this I see. The one thing needful, dearest Lord, is to be one with thee. If I did the Christ, the true and the living vine, who has bought you with a prize. [44:32] Oh, may we meditate upon these wonders that God alone has done for your soul and mine. And so, you know the righteous. [44:44] You don't feel very righteous if you're a true believer. But you're seeking the imputed righteousness. Come with a battle of thy forgiving love. [44:54] All my sins and all my transgressions. Up to now and to those of the future. Do Lord not leave me. Don't leave me to forsake me. [45:06] Hold up my goings and my powers. But my footsteps live not. And I might truly be revealed. And then you need a communion for me from off the mercy sea. [45:19] Then they cry. Oh, what a mercy. If you can record those moments when the Lord has made you to cry. Few words, Lord help me. [45:30] May the Lord am oppressed. Don't take for me. And that oppression might come in through providential dealings with God with you. [45:42] And you may get to tremble and very much afraid. The Lord will cast, he said, I need I care. It is enough that I am not. Oh Lord, I need supply. Oh Lord, I burn bare. [45:54] I need to be able to pray. Or to be unable to believe in the Lord. For whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life. [46:06] He saved them. And he will save you out of your distresses. He is in these very stages of this text of his what is revealed in this very psalm of 107. [46:26] And so he will bring you through. Make the storm of time. You see, we need to come down and realize that all our times are in his hand. [46:39] And faith, dear friends, will believe that. And faith will be tried about it. But faith will be inquiring of God that I might know my times. [46:53] Times to tempt his power to prove. Times to taste. To save his love all for his covenant. And last and end, as shall please, our heavenly friend. [47:06] See, we must know this and be persuaded of this, of our times. And so when you get down, and by saying the dumps, I wonder if I've ever expressed you. [47:20] When you're cast down and all these things seem as great man came before you. And you seem to be in the valley of the shadow of death upon everything you touch. This is the time when you apply. [47:35] This is the time when your faith will be like the exercise and you say, Lord, help me. Lord, undertake for me. As I sow into you. [47:47] And do, Lord, fulfill the scripture and deliver me. And confirm my soul that there is a favor to warn me. And that favor will yet find a deliverance. [47:59] Because when thou have no deliverance see. Yet still, this man I peace shall be. That peace of God, the past of God knowledge of understanding. My peace I leave with you. [48:12] He waits to take it and seal it. We've removed you from your fear of man and bringing us near. Well, we seem to bring fears upon us. [48:23] We fear that we're creatures of fear and breaking on where fear no fear is. But you will come back to our times. [48:36] He's going to bring you into a sorrowful state. But you'll cry unto him. And you'll pray, oh God, do bow down on here. [48:47] For I am poor and needy. And do tell me that thou hast thoughts of peace towards me. And not of evil. To encourage me to wait upon the Lord. [48:58] To renew thy strength. Mount up with wings of eagles. Run and not be weary. Walk and not faint. We're ready to faint when these troubles come upon us. [49:10] We soon lose sight, don't we? When we listen to Satan and all his subtle devices. But to be brought there to really seek the Lord while he may be found. [49:22] Call you upon him near. Mount talk upon his name while he is near. And he's omnipresent. He's ever ready to ever bow down his ear to hear you. [49:35] And he waits to be gracious. Because it's his sovereign right to wait to be gracious. When he tarries off till men are faint and comes at evening late. And he's not the same. [49:47] And he's not the same. And he's never been nor forsaken those. But he's begun this exercise of prayer. Or may you not be left to give up praying. You might get negative answers and no answers at all. [50:02] And so his way of answering. And so you have time to have said to heal up your woes. For Caesar, Moses, his love to disclose. [50:14] And you'll be enabled at times to raise your ebony. And so you'll be able to hear you. And so you'll be able to hear you. Help me. Help me. [50:25] And you won't deny him. This strengthens your weak hands of faith. It confirms your people need. And says unto you of a fearful heart. Fear not. May God become a vengeance. [50:39] Here drive out the fire. Here drive out the seller, dear friends. Because he is determined to save you. Now you and I who have hope, dear friends, of this crying. [50:53] It is a profitable time. Not, it's not a matter. Not come, dear friends, in an act of weeping. You come with a broken heart. You have a sorrowful spirit. [51:06] And he says, I will see you again. And your heart will rejoice. And your joy no man takes from. Blessed gospel, friends. [51:17] Hold fast, dear. Don't let the devil intrude. If he does, commit your care to the Lord. Because he hears and answers prayer. [51:30] You approve it. A trust I have. And yet still afflictions come. Let the Lord deliver them out of the mortal heart. [51:40] And ultimately give an abundant entrance into his everlasting kingdom. And so you seem to be in the wilderness world. And he says here, He turneth the wilderness into a standing water. [51:54] And drive land into water. And there he maketh the hungry to dwell. And so that they may prepare a city for habitation. A beautiful psalm, dear friends. [52:08] And it's true. And may you hold fast to it. And may it be a comfort and hope for your soul. A few remarks this morning.
