[0:00] Let us commence our worship this evening with hymn 420, with Tunis and George 59. O bless the Lord my soul, let all within me join, and aid my tongue to bless his name, whose favours are divine. O bless the Lord my soul, nor let his mercies lie, forgotten in unthankfulness, and with our praises die. [0:48] 420. O bless the Lord my soul, let all within me join, and aid my tongue to bless his name, whose favours are divine. [1:32] 520. O bless the Lord my soul, and aid my tongue to bless his name, and aid my tongue to bless his name, and aid my tongue to bless his name, For all to me, amen, and with them the praises of life. [2:13] This day, O years I say, this day will end my pain. [2:32] This day, O years I say, this day will end my pain. [2:52] Take us my life without, and rest on the grave. [3:12] Take us my life without, and rest on the grave. [3:32] He fills the poor with good. [3:43] May it's that son of a witness, And who has judged it for the crown, And justice, O pure of righteousness. [4:15] This wondrous world stand ways, He made my own gentle rule. [4:33] But send the world, This truth and grace, To my ears with no end, And who has judged it for the crown, And who has judged it for the crown. [4:57] We'll read this evening from the book of Exodus, Chapter 33. Exodus 33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, Thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, And to the land which I swear unto Abraham, To Isaac and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it. [5:27] I will send an angel before thee, And I will drive out the Canaanite, The Amorite and the Hittite, And the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusites, Unto a land flowing with milk and honey, For I will not die up in the midst of thee, For thou art a stiff-necked people, Lest I consume thee in the way. [5:52] When the people heard these evil tidings, They mourned, And no man did put on him his ornaments. But the Lord had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, We are a stiff-necked people. [6:11] I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, And consume thee. Therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, That I may know what to do unto thee. [6:25] And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the Mount Horeb. And Moses took the tabernacle and pitched it without a can, Far off from the can, And called it the tabernacle of the congregation. [6:43] It came to pass that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, Which was without the can. And it came to pass when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, That all the people rose up, And stood every man at his tent door, And looked after Moses until he was gone into the tabernacle. [7:07] And it came to pass, And it came to pass as Moses entered into the tabernacle, The cloudy pillar descended, And stood at the door of the tabernacle, And the Lord talked with Moses. [7:21] And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door, And all the people rose up and worshipped every man in his tent door. [7:32] The Lord spoke unto Moses face to face, As a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp, But his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, The young man departed not out of the tabernacle. [7:49] But Moses said unto the Lord, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people, And thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. [8:01] Yet thou hast said I know thee by name, And thou hast also found grace in my sight. Now therefore I pray thee, If I have found grace in thy sight, Show me now thy way, That I may know thee, That I may find grace in thy sight, And consider that this nation is thy people. [8:28] And he said, My presence shall go with thee, And I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, Carry us not up hence. [8:40] For wherein shall it be known here, That I and thy people, Thy people have found grace in thy sight. Is it not in that thou goest with us? [8:53] So shall we be separated, I and thy people, From all the people that are upon the face of the earth. And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also, That thou hast spoken. [9:10] For thou hast found grace in my sight, And I know thee by name. And he said, I beseech thee, Show me thy glory. He said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, And I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee, And will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, And will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. [9:36] And he said, Thou couldst not see my face, For there shall no man see me and live. And the Lord said, Behold, There is a place by me, And thou shalt stand upon a rock, And it shall come to pass, That while my glory passeth by, That I will put thee in a cliff of the rock, And will cover thee with my hand, While I pass by. [10:06] And thou will take mine hand, And thou shalt see my back parts, That my face shall not be seen. May the Lord bless his word, Help us now in prayer. [10:21] Almighty and most merciful God, Who condescend, Lord, that we, Hear and our hearers on the relay, Might also find grace in thy sight, To know that through thy mercies, Lord, Thou hast chosen us. [10:45] Yes, often in the furnace of affliction, Sanctified our losses our crosses, And look to thee as the one thing needful, To reveal to us, Thy grace, Thy favour towards us, With the favour thou bearest unto thy people, And visit us. [11:09] For thou knowest, Lord, We are wholly dependent upon thee, And thy spirit, The spirit of truth to come down, Reveal the things of God, And make to our salvation known, And witness with the blood. [11:25] For thou knowest the dark days that we live in, Lord, Few, Lord, have that hunger and thirst For thy righteousness, And yet, Lord, would bless thee That there are a few Sons and daughters of God Whom thou could never forget, Could never, Lord, forget that appointed time When thou didst call them by grace, And will yet call those by grace, That are amongst the remnant Whom thou hast chosen before the world were made. [12:01] Though the days are dark, Lord, Though the clouds, Lord, And the devil seem to be hovering around us at all times, Seeking to undermine that religion That is so revealed in the word of God. [12:19] And all men are forsaken thee, Lord, For a mass of pottage, Or for those things that are perishing that they're using. And, O Lord, we do humbly hope, That we each know what it is, To be seeking the Lord, That he might be found, That he might find him, That he might find us, That he might, Lord, reveal to us What sinners we are, How truly vile we are, And, O Lord, how ignorant and foolish we are. [12:53] And yet, Lord, We trust we're not right before, That if something is in heart, There is no God. So we do come, Lord, this evening, With thankful hearts for thy mercies, That we're able to gather again. [13:09] We thank thee, Lord, To hear the arrival of our dear friends, Lord, from England, John, and Jenny, And pray thy presence, our help, Might be with them. [13:21] And him, Lord, in the work of the ministry, Amongst the people that ride, And then to come on down to us here. O Lord, Thankful for journeys in mercy. [13:35] Thankful, Lord, For the constraining to come amongst us. And we do pray, Lord, That his journey might not be vain. That he might be encouraged still to press on In the solemn responsibility of his past, And also, Lord, In the ministration of the gospel among other churches over there. [13:56] And we do look to thee, Lord, To remember us out here. We are few in number. And yet, Lord, Sons and daughters of God, We believe amongst us, That have been born again by the walk in the spirit, And have a desire to see Jesus. [14:13] What a mercy to have a new heart given us, Lord, A heart made tender in thy fear, An aching void that the walk are not filled. Do not disappoint us, Lord. [14:25] Do not dash our feeble hopes, we pray thee, But confirm our souls with signs following them. Have mercy upon our guilty land and nation. [14:36] O Lord, O what a confusion of face, The things that be much amongst them. And all because they were denied the knowledge of God. [14:47] Denied and forsaken the Bible, For all those things, Lord, That are perishing and using. O have mercy upon our governments, We pray thee, state and federal. [15:00] Do yet, Lord, And do yet, Lord, May it seem impossible in our eyes, For a change yet wrought in the land, That men begin to be one, Begin to realize that there is a Most High God, Our Maker and our Creator, And that they have sent the Son of God, To suffer, bleed and die, To deliver sinners from the violent sins, That have been revealed to them, And what they have performed, And what they have thought of. [15:32] Lord, But we do need thee, To bless thy spirit, To send the spirit of truth down, To reveal the things of God, And to favour us, Lord, To have a new heart given to us, A right spirit renewed within us, That the object of our souls' desire, Is to know my Jesus crucified, Which far excels all things beside. [15:58] Do keep us waiting upon thee, Lord, We may get disappointments, We may get dashed hopes in our pathline, But surely, Lord, Goodness and mercy have followed us all the days of God, And as not this calls us to hope, That we shall one day have that expected end, And to our sweet surprise, Arrive in heaven, To be forever with the Lord. [16:25] Do Lord grant sparing strength and mercy to us, Lord, That we might yet see changes, Lord, In our land, That the little denomination might be revived, And confirmed, Not only here, Lord, But throughout this earthly ball, That real religion, Not a false religion, Lord, Of those that are guilty, Lord, Of sins against even the children. [16:54] Oh, Lord, We do pray that we might be kept, Unspotted, Don't know us to tempt us, Power, Lord, To consume, Weave a path to us, Lord, And even draw society, But do hold up their games, Lord, In thy paths, That their footsteps live not. [17:15] Remember our family members, Remember our family members, Lord, We would desire to see, Lord, Change his water then, We would desire to know, That was an interest in their hearts, To know that, Lord Jesus Christ, And him crucified, And to seek the Lord, While he may be found. [17:33] Oh, Lord, Have mercy upon us, And our families. Hear our many groanings in prayers, Lord, for them, That they will yet cause them, To be pricked in the conscience, And begin to be in one, For a saving knowledge of the dear Son of God, For is anything too hard for thee? [17:52] Oh, Lord, Have mercy upon Zion, To, And who keep us unspotted, In this present evil day. Do you still go before us, In our afflictions, Lord, And do grant deliverance, Lord, That we might be enabled, To look back, And see all the way, The Lord has led us, To prove us to know, Whether we will keep his commandments, And know, Or sanctify our losses, And our crosses, And give us grace, Lord, To be still, And know that they are God, And do hear us in our breathing, Lord, And now do descend for our aid, And we will tarry, Lord, Also to bless and praise thee, For our beloved of oneself, Our anniversary on the morrow, For these twenty-one years, O Lord, How we do need, To remember these occasions, And bless thee, How thou hast brought us together, How thou hast upheld, [18:53] Our three children together thus far, And pray, Lord, And they will keep us, And do show us those tokens for good, Yea, not ourselves, But all those, Lord, That pass through these anniversaries of birth, Anniversaries of weddings, And sometimes, And sometimes, And the verses of death, Of those of our parents, Lord, That we remember with affection, For the work of grace, That was bestowed upon them, Oh Lord, Is anything too hard for thee, To continue these blessings in Zion? [19:29] Lord, We believe not, But we do come now, Lord, For our aid, To declare the whole cancers of God, And that thy word might be fastened upon our souls, To seek that closer walk with God, And a calm and refrain that light that shines upon the road, That leads us to the land. [19:54] Pardon all of this, we do pray thee, For Christ's sake alone. Amen. Let us further sing 388, The tune St. Flamian 220. [20:20] Approach my soul, the mercy seat, Where Jesus answers prayer, There humbly fall before his feet, For none can perish there, Thy promise is my holy plea, When this I venture now, Thou call this burdened souls to thee, And such, O Lord, am I. [21:03] Human Spirit, U. Christianity, Science. interpreted hip- Yummy statements, Allan worm, Mary, TheatreBill of Cyper of Touchness, Rev. H Achile 22. [21:15] Of points in the öğrenc ZANG EN MUZIEKamamam [22:17] Thou holy church, so to thee, and such church of divine. [22:38] Thou lovely, Thou harromvoorого sinham investigating. [22:51] I said to you so in praise, I was with heaven and fears within you, I have to be forever. [23:21] Lead out my shield and my defense, and shelter in thy sight. [23:41] I pray my ears, the future of praise, and tell it thou hast the night. [24:02] O wondrous love to read and write, To bear the cross and shame, Let you be sinners, such as I, Nightly, my precious name. [24:47] O tempest, the sin, The grace of the sea, The grace of the sea, My grace, this grace, we see. [25:06] Thou work in favour, Thou art and will, Thou shalt in me believe. [25:25] As the Lord may be pleased to help me, I will direct you prayerfully to Exodus chapter 33, and reading verse 14. [25:44] And he said, My presence shall go with thee, And I will give thee rest. What a favourite soul was Moses, for the Lord to condescend and talk with him. [26:01] But then he had already instructed him to bring his people out of Egypt. And I will give thee mercy if we know something of being brought out of Egypt, a type of the world, and to be brought here, through the voice of the Son of God, as he said, How dependent we are to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd of Jesus, My presence. [26:32] We know that we read our Lord We know that we read elsewhere, and one said, that the Confidentians, My grace is sufficient. [26:49] You know, we are insufficient of ourselves to do anything good in the sight of God. We are defiled from head to foot. We don't like it, though we're nature doesn't like the earache. [27:03] But according to God's words, or how he was very tried that he ever created man upon the earth, because of their attitude, their defiance, their whole sad state of mind and body that contradicted the word of God and the will of God. [27:29] But we see here, that the Lord came at this appointed time to talk with Moses. [27:40] And the Lord said unto Moses, departing to our hands, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I swear unto Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying unto thy seed will I give it. And even in the day and age that we live in, there are those that defy the Israelites for their country and for what the Lord has given to them. [28:13] And even governments throughout the world despise them for it. that God reigns. And there are chosen people. And it is by his grace alone that you and I shall be found as a chosen people. [28:30] And we do ask the Lord and say, if thy presence go not with us, care is not uphends. But we have to look around in our little lives, history, according to his divine instruction. [28:47] We have had to go uphends. We have had to walk in paths that we have not known. And we have often wondered where the scene is going to end. For though when the Lord speaks, he speaks with authority and with power. [29:04] And we reflect a little with the humble hope that we have found grace in his sight. He's led us about it. He's instructed us. He's taught us to fear his name. [29:17] And though we get very tried and tempted in many points, yet the Lord Jesus Christ will be a comfort and hope to your soul and mine. [29:29] Because as you had to prove that he has undertaken for you, he supplied your need. He's been better to you in all, and all your justice deserves. [29:43] And so we looked to him for divine guidance. We looked to him that there might be a following on to know the Lord in these dark days when Zion is in such a low estate. [29:56] But I see him being stripped of all our fancy meekness to approach the dread I am. And he bids you and me. [30:07] When we feel to be like an outcast of Israel, he draws you by the cords of man, by the bands of his love. And he said, And oh, what a mercy if we have a little record in our lives of where he has spoken to you, where he has revealed his love to you, where he has favoured you to come in the strength of the Lord and make even mention of his righteousness, not necessary to others, but make mention of his righteousness at the throne of grace. [30:43] We've been so bowed down with trials and tough troubles, wondering where the sin would end, but you'd be then able to call. Lord, thou knowest all about me. [30:56] Thou knowest I deserve the punishment for my sins. But I do pray, Lord, in my poor way, that thou will take my prayers, presented before the Father's throne, purified by thee, to receive ultimate answers in due time. [31:15] We do not always get the answers that we want to our prayers. But oh, in his presence, you will feel sometimes your bosom even glow in love. [31:30] He pours upon your spirit of prayer. And you seem so favoured in it. In the midst of that trial, you have a good hope that you're going to be brought out of it. [31:44] Such is the wonderful workings of grace upon your soul when you seem to be in great space. You are a good hope, because he is determined to say, Yes, what a mercy. [32:00] He's known you and me since the very conception of us in our mother's womb. And he's brought us, dear friends, thus far. [32:11] He's led us on and made his truth and his mercy known. And we blessed him for it. My presence shall go with thee. This is a great privilege for you and me to feel the Lord speaks to Moses as he was with Moses. [32:27] So will you be with you. You're no lesser a character than Moses. These promises to Moses and other characters in the scripture are for the Lord's dear people. [32:40] They encourage them in their time of need. Because it is by grace alone that we're saved through faith, not of ourselves. There's the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. [32:52] And so, though we do not see him face to face, as Moses were not even permitted to, but I believe there will be those occasions when a part portion of God's word will be so revealed to us that he passes by. [33:11] And yet he leaves with you and me an exceeding great and precious promise to stand you in good stead. Although Satan does his utmost to drive in that wedge of unbelief through mercy, he said, he said, he said, you know that, yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast found grace in my sight. [33:39] What a wonderful word this is then. For you are sold and mine. The eye of the Lord upon you is here open unto your pride, and that comfort and hope you'll be more than a conqueror through him that has loved you and washed you from your sins in his sin and only blood. [33:57] Blessed Jesus. And so, this is the evidence that you do find grace. He bestows upon you his promise. [34:09] My grace is sufficient, he said to Saul and Darcy, and he says to Paul. Strength made perfect in weakness. And we do feel their poverty and their need. [34:23] And we feel unworthy of his notice, but we dare not deny that he has touched our heart on occasions to keep us humbly following on to know the Lord and to receive, yet receive, these great and exceeding promises that he owe them any promise. [34:44] You all know what it is I feel to bow to me and worship. You know what it is to come with praise and handsgiving for his great goodness that he has manifested to you and to me. [34:57] And so, and it's rest. It's rest. It's rest in your weary soul. Rest in you from your troubles. And he gives us sometimes a day of rest in his sanctuary as we try to remember the Sabbath and keep it as we desire to keep it. [35:19] Meditating upon the holiness and righteousness of Christ. Oh, how we do need him, don't we? To bless us with those tokens of his real love. [35:33] See, things have been known and felt in your soul and mind with the presence of the Lord. He shines into your heart to give you that light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus. [35:48] And he bids you and he draws you. You know, his grace is irresistible. When the Lord gives you a commandment, you follow it. [36:00] You are fearful to refuse it because you tremble at the thought of being dishonourable to God. But blessed be the Lord. [36:13] He knows your desires, feeble desires often than we. But blessed be the Lord. His voice. My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me and I give unto them eternal life. [36:33] What a gift is eternal life. We cannot begin to imagine what eternity is, what eternity life is. We have a little divine guidance in the Word of God. [36:45] But who can say who has never been there to witness it? We know that John Baptist was in very high place in the Spirit of the Lord's day. [36:59] Blessed be the Lord that you and I will on occasions feel to be in the Spirit on the Lord's day. A fleeting glimpse of Christ. A desire for him to manifest to us his everlasting love. [37:13] And to feel his presence. He girds up the lines of your mind. You're sober and hope for the end when he visits your soul. [37:25] And you rest in his love. Oh, what love this is. The gold chain that binds those happy souls above. And he's an heir or she's an heiress whose bosoms glow with love. [37:40] And we dare not deny it. The tokens of the love that the Lord has bestowed upon us in life's little journey. He favours us and has favoured us. [37:53] And he will yet favour those that honour him. Because them that honour me I will honour. And they that despise me shall be like this to him. And so, in divine direction, in our walk and our conduct. [38:07] We shall come with a humble way. Lord, if thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. He's instructed you in something. [38:19] He's taught you to do something. And you refrain from it. And that brings you into darker streets and places, doesn't it? Because you didn't feel that led by the Spirit at that time to go forward. [38:34] But blessed be the Lord. He doesn't take it away from you. It means that he may hide his face from you. In certain situations where you need divine guidance. [38:47] But nevertheless, the time is set. The time is set, dear friends, for you to hear his voice. And blessed moments when you do hear his voice. [39:02] As the sheep of Christ. And you follow him. He's the object of your soul's desire. To see Jesus. See him made a little lower than the angels. [39:15] To see him come into this same world. To see him to save lost sinners. And you and me the worst. The blessed be the Lord. He saved. [39:28] As he says, as he speaks. Jesus speaks and speaks to me. Say, poor sinner, lovest me now more than these. [39:40] All these carnal things different. These providential things. God has made a way for you to receive them. And you receive them. [39:52] And he supplied your temple need. You're able to make your way through the world. You may have planned it triad pathway. But nevertheless. He's not forsaken you or forgotten you. [40:06] In those early days when he made you to consider your latter end. And to consider his way. And to consider the work of God. The word of God. [40:17] And to search the scriptures to see if it be so. Grace in his sight. This is a muster. And he even had grace in his sight even for the stiff neck people. [40:32] Did you know you break the stiffness of that neck. The hardness of the harm. And do you make your knee more tender when he speaks to you? Jesus speaks and speaks to the. [40:45] Save poor sinner. Love his sin down there. You answer it. But you respond to his question. You respond to his voice. And you go in the strength of the Lord. [40:57] And make mention of that righteousness. My presence shall go with me. It's an exceeding great and precious promise. That you look to the Lord. [41:08] To grant you the witness and sealing of the spirit upon your soul. That you might truly feel that union and communion with him. From off the mercy seat. Blessed Jesus. [41:20] The one thing needful. And the one that has condescended to meet your case and mine. And you've gone on your way rejoicing. [41:32] As he's favoured you. To show you now his way. And you seek the grace to walk worthy of him. And to make as I said. [41:44] Which he has done. His goodness before you in the way. So. Jesus said. No. We want to be an able to speak. Don't we? [41:55] We want the living testimony. Is it what he has spoken to yourself. He wants him. To stir. Stir you up. In giving that diligence. [42:07] To make your calling. And election sure. It's a calling. His voice is a calling. He calls you to prayer. He calls you to search the scriptures. [42:20] He calls you to follow me. He calls you to seek grace to walk worthy of him. And the vocation where you have been called. What a mercy if you can. [42:33] Reflect a little in your mind. Where he has called you. By his grace. Covers everything doesn't it? Covers everything. If he's called you by grace. [42:45] And you'll be following on. You get very. Disarmed sometimes. By Satan. In his suffering. And. [42:58] His allurements. That Jesus allures you into the wilderness. Yes. He makes all these things here below a wilderness. Yes. [43:10] But there he speaks comfortably. Similar to this. My presence shall go with thee. When most we need this helping hand. [43:22] His friend is always near with him. And heard his command. He waits to answer prayer. He tarries off to a men of fame. He knows how to strip you of men. [43:34] Make it a finder friends. Make it a moor. Make it a hunger. Make it a thirst with righteousness. He tarries off. Till men are found. [43:47] Well. The Lord knows his dealings with you and me. Though. We do have evidences don't we? I'm sure you each have evidences. [44:00] That have made you return to Zion. Made you to seek to follow. And to remember the Sabbath. And to remember the word of God in your home. Because. That's different dear friends. [44:13] That some of those novels that you and I have been. In our younger years have been interested in. Nothing in it is. Manufactured by man. And it's all man's. And it's all man's. [44:24] And polluted mind. That brings these things out. And he makes a great living out of it. But there's nothing like the word of God. The word of God. Nothing like the word of God dear friends. [44:36] To stir you in the up. When the Lord applies it. With power. From on high. And sends you. [44:48] The instruction and teaching. To bring you out of the land of Egypt. To set your. To set your. Affections upon things above where Christ was in. Sometimes we ponder. [45:00] What must it be to be there. We should never know. Till by the grace of God. We're saved. Through faith. Not of ourselves. The gift of God. Not of works. [45:11] Just any man should boast. And many poor religious creatures. Rely on good works. That it acts as it were. As something good in their lives. [45:27] Jesus said. Call none good upon the earth. Call none good upon the earth. Call none good upon the earth. Call none good upon the earth. But by the grace of God. They'll have this good thing in their heart. The Lord God of Israel. [45:38] And you'll be wanting to know that. Because you cannot think any thoughts are right. That Jesus. Knows what thoughts he has towards you. Thoughts of peace and not of evil. [45:50] To give an expected end. And he says. My soul. Wait upon God. Wait upon God. For my hope cometh from him. [46:05] Hear that. Not let you to be ashamed. You'll be ashamed of your pathway. You'll be ashamed of your sins. But ashamed of Jesus. That dear friend. On whom my hopes of heaven depend. [46:17] He bids you come. Come unto me. All ye that lay when are heavy laden. Why are you heavy laden? [46:28] Because sin. Is a burden to you. But he said. Sin shall not have dominion over you. For you're not under the law. But under grace. [46:40] And you'll have to say. Lord give me more grace. Lord. That I might form. That I might form. Find more grace. That I might grow in grace. [46:51] And acknowledge of thee. Of have a real you. In the communion with thee. For my mercy seat. A real token of thy love. Speak the Lord over them. [47:02] Speak the Lord over me. Heal me Lord. From the malady of sin. You do sometimes. We painfully have to learn. Don't we? Our malady of sin. [47:13] Our afflictions. Our sorrows. Our grief. Our pain. Our pain. Nothing like his pain dear friends. Or when we think he carried. [47:24] The sins. Of all his people. In the covenant. He bore it. Bore the curse from them. Bore it from them. [47:35] Bore it from them. Because he had chosen them. In the furnace of affliction. Oh what a favoured soul. We are if we can feel it. The love of Christ. [47:47] Upon your soul and mine. That he says. My presence shall go with thee. You won't feel. Heady or high minded. You'll be humbled. [47:59] You'll feel the poverty. Of your religion. You'll know what it is to feel. I am poor and needy. Of being able to say. With an honest heart. I used to know a man. [48:12] In England. That's all he kept quoting. I'm poor and needy. I hope he knew it. I hope he knew it. I hope he knew it. But he will know it. He will know it. [48:23] He will know it dear friends. We've got nothing to boast of. Or glory of. Have we? But we bless God. God. I know. We see sometimes. Success in their families. [48:35] And we bless God. That he's given them. That wisdom and knowledge. And understanding. To attend to these things. But no. We don't want to get lifted up. With pride. Do we? Some of the dangers in religion. [48:47] Are pride and prejudice. And what havoc it causes. But what a mercy dear friend. To be brought here. He said. The voice of the good shepherd speaks. [49:01] Say poor sinner. Lovest thee mad. Lovest thee more than these. Be not. Unmindful of me Lord. I know I'm a wretched sinner. [49:12] I know. I wonder. I wonder. Lither. Hither. To do this and that. But oh Lord. Do keep me from the love of sinning. And do keep my mind stayed upon me. [49:25] And bless me. And show me those tokens of love. That thy presence is with me. Because this is the security. In thy presence I'm happy. [49:36] In thy presence I'm secure. Secure. Yes. In what he's spoken to you of. What he's revealed to you of. What he's applied to your soul and mine. [49:48] The entrance of his word. Oh nothing better than that. Than the voice of his lips. As he speaks to your soul. My presence shall go with thee. [50:01] You see your labour to enter that rest. The command of the people of God. It's a labour. And so. Commit thy will to meet thee. Trust also in thee. [50:13] And I will bring it to pass. We must have faith. To believe that God is able to perform this. For you and me. To be a performance of these things. In your soul and mine. [50:25] And. You know. He will not. Never leave you. He'll never forsake you. In him you love to live and move. And have your very being. [50:37] When Jesus with his mighty love. Visits your troubled breath. You'll now subside. Your fears will move. And you'll completely bless. The blessing of the Lord. That make him rich. All from all these tokens. [50:50] These evidences. That he's speaking to your soul and mine. Not as I say to Moses. But to you as a person. To you as a. As a soul. [51:01] That he's been redeemed. With the blood of Christ. Cause his goodness to pass before you. And you can. You can lay claim to that. Some of you. Providence. [51:12] And you want to know it in grace. The sufficiency of his grace. The strength made perfect in weakness. You glory your infirmities. And that doesn't lift you up to pride. [51:25] Infirmities. We realize the infirmities. They creep upon us as we get older. But the power of Christ. That will lift you out of the. [51:37] Out of Job's ditch friends. That will lift you out of Job's ditch. To the ditch. You glorify God. In the fire. In the fiery trials. [51:48] You see. Beloved. Think it not strange. Concerning the fiery trials. To try you. As though some strange thing happen. You rejoice in. As much as you are partakers. Of Christ's sufferings. [52:01] That when the glory. Is revealed. You may be exceeding glad. For the glory. From God. You may be exceeding glad. You may be exceeding glad. For your glory God. [52:12] The face of Christ Jesus. For these precious promises. That will never fail. And the Christian's hope will never fail. Because it's built. Upon nothing less than Jesus.
