Browsing
There are four ways to browse the sermons in our collection
On the Ministers and Chapels pages you can enter a name in the search box to narrow your search.
The Bible Book page indicates by means of colour how many sermons in the collection have been preached on each chapter of scripture. The darkest boxes indicate the chapters with the most sermons.
Finding a specific sermon
To find a specific sermon, the quickest way is to enter a few keywords in the search box on the home page or the main Sermons page.
Keyword Search
For example:

Here, entering the keywords “Hyde Redhill Romans” will return all the sermons preached by anyone with surname ‘Hyde’ at any chapel in ‘Redhill’ from the book of ‘Romans’.
Not all sermons have an explicit title but, where they do, the general search can be used to find words in the title. When more than one word is entered the only results matching all of the words will be shown
Scripture Reference search
You can also enter a bible reference to find sermons preached on that specific text, For example “Romans 8:28“.
Advanced Search
The “Advanced search” can be used to explicitly place search criteria against specific features, for instance to find sermons preached by a minister between set dates, or Anniversary services, or with a quality above a stated level, or omitting those that are incomplete.

Search Results
The sermons returned by a search have their details in a box like this

In top left is the sermon subject and Bible text
Below that is the minister name and chapel (where known)
Below that is the occasion and date preached (where known)
Below that is the audio quality, and completeness of the recording.
On the right side are the “Play” and “Download” buttons.
By clicking on the sermon subject another page comes up giving the full Scriptural Text. It also gives links to other sermons preached at the same chapel on the same day.
