Dawson, Herbert (1890-1969)

Passed away October 12th 1969, aged 79. He was baptized at Zion Chapel, Wantage (Berkshire) on September 30th 1909, and first preached at Wantage as a young man of 24. He commenced his pastorate at Union Chapel Bethersden (Kent) in June 1915, and was enabled from the start of his pastorate to re-establish the cause on sound scriptural lines, true to the doctrine and practise on which the church was first founded. He remained at Union Chapel as pastor for over 54 years.
