Coppice

The cause seems to have started in the early 1790s in the Baptist Chapel in Bond St, Birmingham. In 1793, a dispute arose and some of the congregation left to meet in a house also in Bond St. As numbers increased it was decided to build a Chapel of their own, and in 1804 the present Chapel was built. Between September 2002 and March 2003, the interior of the Chapel was extensively refurbished following water damage from burst boilers.
