[0:00] Chapel, Tentenden. The Gospel according to John, Step 12, in Gospel of verse 21, we would see Jesus.

[0:45] I bet you to hope that this desire may be widespread among us this evening, that we may be found with heartfelt desire, but seeking to see him, not to guess him, that it is possible for us to see him as he could be seen, and spoken to, and heard, and even touched when he was on earth.

[1:36] But there are ways in which it is still the privilege of the children of God to see Jesus as revealed to them in the various offices which he holds, privileges he can grant, blessings and favors he is able to bestow, because in him all will let dwell.

[2:16] That he can be seen in the sanctuary, in the evidence. And so as it were, and I would speak to remind you of it, to see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

[2:43] No way. No way. If it is being told to see him already, this will stimulate our children, or a desire within living, exercise children of his to see him again, and his power and his glory.

[3:08] You will realize in such an important and high subject as this, my need of the spirit guidance.

[3:22] And I need it as the remembrance of it. I want to direct your hopes and desires to see him as he is.

[3:42] Exercise as who he is. I believe that everything hinges in the matter of their confidence in his, as to his divine personality.

[4:05] When he asks the question himself on earth, Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, he received various replies?

[4:22] And then he says to his disciples, But whom say here I am? And this is what I want to be able to see clearly this evening.

[4:35] And I hope you will desire to say it. To really see who he is. Because of what I have so stupidly written, a rather long hint that I cannot quote much of, or wish to.

[4:54] It just says, What thing in Christ is the test to try one of your state and your scheme? You cannot see right in the rest unless you think rightly of him.

[5:10] Well, that is precisely where I feel it is necessary to start. Do we, in fact, see him as the promised Messiah, who was none other than the Son of God?

[5:25] And yet he says himself in the reading that we see the Father when we see him. And so we have here a wonderful mystery of unity in the God's head, which is it, at least in the view of the Lord through the Spirit of the Grace, as he told, a divine authority.

[5:53] Now, there was an occasion when on earth people listening to it, who later gave various evidence of any of the warning, yet we read this concerning them and his word to them, that he was astonished at his doctrine, for his word was with power.

[6:23] This is what I want to establish, first of all, his divine authority, and to see him as the Son of God as well as the Son of Man, and to still remember his own words to Philip.

[6:43] It will be so long time with you. against that, if 마 알 Tana, now we have to be finished, here that it is seen him, and he hath seen the Father.

[6:56] And has lengthened thy words show up the Father. I believe it would be a great mercy if we were given a little view, see a little of this profound truth, because it will establish us as being, at least in our hopes and desires, in the hands of one who is divine and equal with, indeed is, God.

[7:26] The world was God. He is God. Now, it is possible to see him as the Son of Man.

[7:42] And this is yet another mystery, that his love was so strong, so divine, that he could condescend and take upon himself the form of a servant, and be found in the fashion of the man.

[8:07] For the first was often doing that which was impossible for angels to do, it is to submit to death.

[8:21] I want to see him in his loving conversation, and remind you here of his own words.

[8:33] When your love hath no man in this, that the man laid out his life for his head.

[8:45] I want to see him. I desire to be before you as that friend of the sinner.

[8:57] This day, my lord, for a moment to one who was little stature, but he heard that Jesus was the false that way, and so he climbed into the big hole tree in order to see him.

[9:19] To this day, he received the anti-blessing of hearing in tune.

[9:31] Come down, quickly. For today, the thine is thy house. Now, what a wonderful mercy to see this divine person as the source of your salvation, as that sacred man was.

[9:55] There were others who saw it, Jesus I think, and they scornfully said of it, God will be a guest with a man that is a sinner.

[10:11] We'll see more of his loving conversation here, and still more of his grace and his power to save, even the poor sinner.

[10:26] This is what Zacchaeus heard. This day, his salvation comes to his house. And it's still possible, though not without your eyes, to see him in that way, as he who has brought the light of your house and mine.

[10:58] Is it ever the place here to repeat today? We could see Jesus in this way, see him come, called his day to come, where we dwell, and to find an air house and wall, and give us to see the coming, and give us to see the coming, barely the salvation of God to our house.

[11:28] By the nature of the new Father in this, hoping I may recklessly say, may that, let it be here, hold it then to come to sinners in this house, and bring him with it when he comes.

[11:50] Salvation! For yet, those electly chosen to take salvation here.

[12:02] I hope that believers in Christ, that I should desire this for you, and seek your pride, that you might in this, since and case, see him in this sanctuary.

[12:18] The Lord brought this in his birth. Hmm. Is it possible?

[12:30] When the Spirit is the guide of the teacher, to see him in his word. I know that I've briefly hinted at this particular line before.

[12:48] However, it may be feasible to deal with it again in this evening. The word of God, if search according to the Lord's own words, testifies of it.

[13:06] But I don't believe that you and I, can by any turning of our own, how this is, find a man.

[13:18] I do believe that if divinely directed, and receiving the light, the illumination of the Spirit of truth, he may be found in the word of truth, in some very unexpected scriptures.

[13:38] And you will see, to your surprise, that Jesus is there. Now, Jesus is a mercy, because of this, in his fellow, a fulfillment, of the promise of Jesus, concerning, concerning, what the Spirit to do.

[14:04] He shall, this he shall, 55 things, for he shall take of mine, and shall show it, up to you.

[14:16] And when he does, this is the important point, you see Jesus, in the scripture, it will prove, a blessing for you.

[14:28] Only, if so, whatever the word may be, even in the Irish word, in prayer, I thought it needed to cover various aspects of the application of the word, as guided thy hope, and you will be blessed if correct it.

[14:50] Because that's so good, the Lord does correct up to those who mean us, according to the word. And through little lives he correct it, who scourges every son may receive it, and therefore, if we see it in this particular way, we will bless and shall be blessed, that you will wish to see it too, as your burden bearer, because no real follower, of the Lord Jesus Christ, is without a burden of some kind.

[15:35] I feel I may make that statement, and support it with his own words, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

[15:58] Therefore, I say, each follower of the Lord's will has been brought there. It will inevitably prove, at times at least, and perhaps frequently, too much for nature's back or shoulders or strength to bear or cope with.

[16:24] you will need to see this precious Savior, as your burden bearer. You will need to see that revealed in the word of He, when you are unable to cause this burden of an age, to receive his sustaining power.

[16:46] Again, I say, how indebted we are, to a Savior who is of divine authority and power. So let us ever seek, when the burden becomes heavy, to rightly cast upon the Lord, with reverence and gentleness, faith, to believe in the word.

[17:10] For if faith begins, we read that our desire will be grounded, and we lead to stay by this precious Jesus, whom we see as our burden bearer.

[17:34] You will see it, or want to see it, as the source from which saving grace may be a stain.

[17:48] The Spirit, having already taught you, how great do you need grace to save? Being aware, lost, and that sincerely aware, of your lost condition.

[18:06] You will find the prayer that Peter gave utterance to, briefly and did, exactly to your case on many occasions, Lord, save me.

[18:22] You will see in his word, that he has saved his church. This may be some measure of comfort and encouragement to you, and encouragement to you.

[18:40] But he cannot be to your soul's satisfaction, until you are really assured, that his salvation is for you.

[18:54] If you have a word from his word to encourage you to seek, and the words wherewith he might safely approach unto it, here it is, equally briefly in the psalm, says, I am my soul.

[19:22] I am thy salvation. And then you will see, a merciful, gracious, loving, complete failure, whom you will be able to approach in a very different way, while that sweet feeling lasts.

[19:50] You will be able to say, with God, my Lord, and my God. You will want to see Jesus as the spring, from which that stream of mercy flows to his people.

[20:16] You will, you will, at this time, see, that it flows to others. This might interest some of the younger people.

[20:30] And it may be the means of inducing within you, a cry you receive from this stream of mercy yourself.

[20:42] I hope it will. So, I hope you will, seek for a part of love in this free yet sovereign mercy.

[20:54] It flows, because of what Jesus has done. And you will see that he is the third of it, and so you will venture, I feel sure, to call upon him, that he will have mercy for you.

[21:16] When he does, you will be amazed, I believe, at the love, and the compassion, that flows to you, undeservedly.

[21:32] And may he be yours. In return, to offer to him all the thanksgiving and praise, he enables you to offer.

[21:46] You will find a sacred place in seeing him again as your source of mercy.

[21:58] Because if you are going on, your need of it will increase. One is saying in his head, and I have quoted it before, that the sinner needs his mercy more than ever thought by faith.

[22:16] I can add a word here, that it's important in it. More often. No sinner needing mercy more often.

[22:28] Do you feel like that? You do, you will see in the day here, that beautiful fount of mercy, which will be to me, that the Spirit pans off, and dealing him to you.

[22:44] And I do not myself see, how Jesus will become increasingly precious to you, unless you are favoured and paid, that he is great, paid, of his mercy to you personally.

[23:08] Then you will see, that salvation flows freely, through this precious mediator, the Son of God.

[23:26] When you say, the whole body may, whether this be a public, or a private devoration, you will need, for the sight of your soul's comfort, to see him, as your intercessor with God.

[23:52] And when, I heard, with the glimps of his dust, your heart will be enlarged in position, and supplication, unto God through him.

[24:08] This is the way, that God was sure, to be approached, by these needy people. And when the Spirit shows you this, and you are unable to walk in this path of prayer, trusting in this prayer of the Savior, you will know what it is to find nearness to go, and access to it.

[24:36] This blessed Jesus, as told him to be recorded in his word, if he shall ask anything in my name, and I will do it.

[24:50] I believe he shall lead the Spirit's direction, instruction, and inditing, that we may rightly ask in his name. I shall ask to touch, as the Lord may help me, on a very solemn sight, yet, I do desire, with reverence, to approach, as near to it as the Lord will permit, to see him by faith.

[25:28] That calvary will be the means, in the Lord's hands, of giving you the sweet relief of the love of the burden of the sin you are, if the gracious Spirit also lives with yours, that this great offering, this wonderful atonement, covers you.

[26:02] You will see then, how it is possible for this work, that there is forgiveness against thee, that thou mayst be here.

[26:18] Forgiveness, like all spiritual blessings, was dearly bold, and paid for at Calvary.

[26:30] Any cost, to the Savior, of the blessings that flowed to his unworthy people, will, I believe, occupy them in seeking to render to him, the honor that is due to his name, forever and ever after eternity.

[26:52] May you and I, be engaged in that bliss of compassion, that the Lord will, may confirm our hope, that this will be our blessed portion, when life here is empty, to commence that sweet song of praise unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

[27:22] On that cross, there was shed, the blood that had clenched an innumerable host of believers.

[27:38] Indeed, the whole Church of God, the Lamb of Strive, has been virtually purified in that town.

[27:50] We await, very slowly, still, either the thirst application of this cleansing, or the necessary renewal knowledge.

[28:06] If, given, remove it, as right to us, return, that its power, may be true with, again, and again.

[28:24] Have you blessed God for this, some of the children? It's due to the Lord Jesus, that we should lay low at his feet, and bless his name, for the possibility of renewed cleansing, and often, as long as the sinner is a feeling of renewed guilt of the conscience.

[28:46] You will see him indeed as the sinner's sustenance. You will see him as an acceptable offering to God, and you will see such a beauty in that scripture, when your eyes are open.

[29:02] by the Lord Jesus, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well of thee. This means salvation for all the election of Christ, because God has accepted the offering and the work of his own dear Son.

[29:18] because God has accepted the offering at the work of his own dear son. We would see Jesus that waited long, throughout many generations, to see him come to earth, one favored child of God received a blessed promise in God.

[29:55] He should not see death until he had seen the Lord Christ, the salvation of Israel. To this day he went by the Spirit into the temple, at the appropriate, important time.

[30:21] Your dear man, how full his heart must be, with gratitude to a promised giving, a promise performing God, knowing God knows that is now thy throat, devout in peace, according to thy word, for mine eyes have seen thy salvation.

[30:48] among the many conditions which some others have forgot. I believe that I have seen this, knowing that this is all my desire, that I will, though unworthy, may see for myself thy grace, thy grace, thy grace, which thou hast prepared, which thou hast prepared, to confide in, before there, and now manifest this, this well-escaped, from rock to come, and to serve hell.

[31:40] Indeed, not only the escape, but a way made by which, foreign unworthy, did her pay pardon, cleansed, and received into heaven.

[31:53] Blessed Gospel. It's the Gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ. And if we fear in it, that the Lord has done great things for us, for his open, blind eyes, the Lord God, that further sight, may be granted to us, as we journey on, so that their apprehension, of the value and work, of this precious Savior, may increase, and we, brethren, and in the knowledge, of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, He is a great advocate, with the Father.

[32:48] I will use in power, for just a few minutes, an actual illustration, a successful education, with the courts of the Lord, is a well-insured, he's cursed himself, his knowledge of the Lord, his grace, so it is of, the way, by which, the case, may be the most, suitably presented, and the more skillful, this advocate, the more often, people who are, all the most, on the verge of guilt, seem, to be, discharged, through the skill, of their advocate, I won't say no more, in that direction, and would like, each of us, who have a concern, about an error, advocate, see, the wonderful, well-instructed, advocate, we have, with another, how did he gain, his instruction, well, he was tempted, in all points, like us, we are, yet, without sin, so that he would be, able to suffer, then that our, he didn't present, their case, successfully, before God, so, my dear friends, this advocate, is in a vastly, higher condition, than any, earthly advocate, he says, to say, there is no debt, this person owes, no charge, to be laid, upon this, poor, pedant,

[34:46] I've paid, his cost, calvary, or hers, that he, advocate, even to this, in heaven, polygore, his word, with this power, on earth, bless God, his word, is this power, in heaven, as he advocates, of his people, now, we have, an advocate, with the Father, John, right, bless God, for this, his name is Jesus, and if we are favored, to see him as ours, we may safely, rely, on his advocacy, on our behalf, with the Father, with the Father, with his tears, he honored up, to come, the soup, in love, but with all, our piax, and the throne, in glory, now, this is our mediator, the false, who tells, some of the other these, there is one mediator, between God, man, the man,

[36:00] Christ Jesus, my dear friends, we need, none other, but we do need, to be able, favored, to see him, as their, mediator, his plea, will be, successful, because he has, brought, reconciliation, more, the spirit, enabling you, to ponder, on the depths, and wonder, and mystery, of this true, reconciliation, between God, and those, who were, in entity with it, the more, you will seek, to bless God, for the word, which says, and you, have he, reconciled, on, and you, will seek, to be, reconciled, to God, that is the, exhortation, Paul gives, in what it is, be he, reconciled, to God, through the Lord,

[37:08] Jesus Christ, and see it, as the means, of, reconciliation, but I, heard, and, as those, in the Sabbath, do, to the word, in Isaiah, this, the Lord, will help me, for two minutes, I want to, fill this, subject, before me, this evening, in a very, different light, in accordance, with, that promise, this promise, here it is, Jesus, thine, I, shall, see the King, in his beauty, I believe, I felt, a desire, for a little while, to be, included, in, my death, from this, point of view, we, I, would, see Jesus, in, his beauty, his beauty, now,

[38:14] I hinted, all back, concerning, the many generations, to the, past, in waiting, for him, to be seen, on earth, now, we, are still, virtually, in the same condition, for a, fire, reason, I, say fire, because, for blessing, the results, will be, eternal, in their, character, for we, have done, with sin, and death, I, refer, to his own, word again, if I, go away, I, will come again, and receive you, out of my cell, that where I am, there he may be also, now, we are waiting, and hoping, to see him, come again, there is a word, it is extremely, general, in his application, every eye, shall see it, and they, the fear, see it, my dear friends,

[39:36] I hope, that we, you see him, in a very different way, in a very different light, and still, that, blessed Savior, whom, as all, love is, the sight, will be too much, for, all, who, who, have, despite him, all, who, have, been, the, resisted, of his grace, and mercy, while, on earth, will be, specially, dealt with, so that they, they, feel, enjoyed, because, they, will be, like it, when, they, fear, there, oh, there's a sweet word, in the last, chapter, in the scripture, and, they, shall see it, say, and, your name, shall be in their forest, on a day, to say, this is the acceptance, that God, will see that, they're his children, because, his name, is in their forest, that, the Lord, gets accepted, who has his, blessed name, there, and their eyes, will see it, as he is, and we, shall be like it, for the glorious, prospect, it says, before the children, of God, near the end, of the scriptures, we read, and, behold,

[41:27] I come, quickly, as a response, to this, sometimes, that response, is found, in the heart, of the child, of God, in the heart, of the children, of God, even today, even so, come, Lord Jesus, we will, see thee, at thy coming, and be favored, that stand, before thee, in that day, there is this, in the word of God, and it will be, the result, of the praise, of their Lord, Jesus Christ, and, whether we are favored, to see it, in the sanctuary, whether we are favored, to see it, in the word, whether we are favored, at any time, to see it, by the revelation, of the spirit, it will be, all of the mercy, of Jesus, and according, to the purposes, of God,

[42:36] I say, the holy, excellent grace, and the desire, I hope, as we hear, the jury's hand, is a freedom, concerning, this brief, desire, we, would, be, such, as always, happen, because, if we were, sitting in a nation, in a state of nature, and only, if we were, if we were, naturalized, we could, still be, in the cave, mentioned, by the God, where we could, see it, there is no, beauty, that we, should, desire, for it, my dear friends, before I close, now, this very, first question, has to be, in the, bill, for, wandering, remount, this evening, something, which has, called you, to see, a beauty, and, every, and therefore, that has, heard, a gift, it is, time now, to try, to resolve, in our mind, each other, whether this, describes us, to see, it is, my desire, it is, trying, to see, in Jesus, if so, then I may, thank you, that hope, that I have not, made room together, this day,

[44:10] I will ask, further, the greatest, spirit, to make, Jesus, more precious, still, more desirable, because, more needful, to you and I, and there, I ask, to be forgiven, of all, that is being, better, amen.

[44:29] Amen.
