John

[0:00] I'd venture to read to you the 29th verse, verse 29. In chapter 4, the Gospel by John.

[0:13] The Gospel by John, chapter 4, verse 29. Come, see a man which told me all things that ever I did.

[0:34] Is not this the Christ? Yes. My friends, there's a great secret.

[0:53] And no man, no person on this earth can ever enter into it. Not even the children of God who have a hope that they're not strangers to covenant land.

[1:18] Do you see what there is that secret? It is this. It's when he finds out his children.

[1:34] Oftentimes he hides the purpose of his grace. To make it better known.

[1:46] And my friends, often, Those who profess that he has, By his matchless grace, Stained them in the way, Would not look upon others that God has called.

[2:07] What a mercy! I have felt that many, many, many times, That the calling of his own elite children Is in the hands of Christ and Christ only.

[2:28] And so it was in this case. Here was a voice. And who did that?

[2:39] Where I know as the person That this voice came from. A Samaritan. One that the Jews had nothing to do with.

[3:00] One that came to the well of Jacob With a pot to fill with water from the well.

[3:10] One that had five husbands And now living in sin with another one.

[3:27] And a Samaritan. That the disciples wondered Why he had to do with them.

[3:44] That secret was known in him. In the councils of eternity Before that woman was ever born.

[3:57] And the moment And the time came And the need It was a special need And the foundation of that need Lay here Her name was in the Lamb's Book of Life That's why That lie in the bosom of the Father A very special need And however A black that carried to one While I'm in In the ruins of the world Whoever ignorant she was Of her precious Christ The time had come And not a moment before Not a moment after

[31:20] I did and is not this a Christ he had something to go home with God had given him God had given him have you ever had anything to go home with that's between God and yourself between a precious Christ have you ever had anything to go home with where you have had to put the crown on his head and crown him Lord of all weigh it up why because there was a need to come to yourself that's why that is he's told me all that ever I did but there was an unmistakable revelation that he was the Christ what a meeting what a meeting that Christ that provides heaven admit that dear woman and give her to now the way to heaven and give her to now her place would be there they think there's nothing new the gospel's the same we don't fit the gospel to times we do at times we're not two generations alike we're living in a most solemn times now most solemn yet is the gospel to say and Christ is the same and conviction of the Bible spirits the same there's nothing altered now it has an heavenly foundation even

[33:32] Jesus Christ well the disciples come and they thought he was satisfied before he partook of the meat which they brought to him he had no meat that any disciple could give him he said my need is to do the will of him that sent me to finish his work my friends what the son wasn't he that he had given to redeem all the people of God

[34:39] I shall come little Lord what is the meat of every true servant of good to do the will of him that sent them yes to do the will of him that sent them when that work is finished he comes to a close he knows when to do it you don't have to lean to one and another oh no that's the secret what will is it well if they've had a sip of this water of life they've got to take it to another tab a sip sometimes it's bitter water and sometimes it's sweet that you might have fellowship with him in his suffering and if you suffer with him we shall also reign with him and you know the woman become a preacher she said the
