[5:40] Transcribed by — Transcribed by — Transcribed by — Transcribed by — Transcribed by — Transcribed by — Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

[6:07] Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth is mountain, on the side of the north, the city of the great King.

[6:18] God is known in her palaces for a refuge. For though the kings were assembled, they passed by together, they saw it and so they marveled.

[6:34] They were troubled and hasted away. Fear took hold upon them there, and pain as of a woman in travail.

[6:44] Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind. As we have heard, so have we seen, in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God.

[7:01] God will establish it forever. Selah. We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

[7:16] According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth. Thy right hand is full of righteousness. Let Mount Zion rejoice.

[7:30] Let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments. Walk about Zion, and go round about her.

[7:42] Tell the towers thereof. Mark me well her bulwarks. Consider her palaces, that ye may tell it to the generation following.

[7:53] For this God is our God, forever and ever. He will be our guide, even unto death.

[8:06] Psalm 45 My heart is indicting a good matter. I speak of the things which I have made touching the King.

[8:21] My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children of men. Grace is poured into thy lips.

[8:34] Therefore God hath blessed thee forever. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, With thy glory and thy majesty.

[8:46] And in thy majesty ride prosperously, Because of truth and meekness and righteousness. And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

[9:01] Thy love, O most mighty, O most mighty, Thy heart of thy law, O most mighty, Thy heart of thy heart, O most mighty, Whereby the people fall under thee. Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever.

[9:16] The scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. Thou lovest righteousness and hatest wickedness Therefore God thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows All thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia Out of the ivory palaces whereby they have made thee glad King's daughters were among thy honourable women Upon thy right hand did stand the Queen in gold of Ophir Hearken O daughter and consider and incline thine ear Forget also thine own people and thy father's house So shall the King greatly desire thy beauty For he is thy Lord and worship thou him

[10:22] And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift Even the rich among the people shall entreat thy favour The King's daughter is all glorious within Her clothing is of wrought gold She shall be brought unto the King in raiment of needlework The virgins, her companions that follow her Shall be brought unto thee With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought They shall enter into the King's palace Instead of thy fathers Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children Whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations Therefore shall the people praise thee

[11:22] For ever and ever May the Lord help us now to pray Holy, eternal and gracious Lord We bow in glad thanksgiving In humble worship And in heartfelt praise We can say together this evening For great is thy faithfulness We look about us And with amazement in our hearts We say How great thou art And we would come together To ascribe to thee all honour And praise and glory Lord we are amazed at thy mercy

[12:23] We are amazed at thy wondrous loving kindness Thy compassion Thy longsuffering Lord we bow together As those who owe everything to thee Naturally we owe our lives to thee We owe our very existence to thee And we live in a world Which is part of a vast universe Which owes all its existence To the word of our God Lord we are given life We are maintained in life Only by thy sovereign decree And so we bow before thee As our great eternal God and creator And pray that from each heart Yes Lord even from the unwilling There may come tonight

[13:23] Some recognition Of thy sovereign power As our God And our creator But all we do pray That as we look about us Our hearts may be moved In a deeper recognition Of thy wonderful greatness The wonder of thy love And Lord we pray that together We may come into the presence Of that living God In the name of Jesus Christ The living Saviour Oh Lord it would be a blessing indeed If so Even tonight for the first time Came into the presence Of that King of whom we've been reading And that tonight They may really know The power of thy Holy Spirit Drawing them To the feet of Jesus To know his forgiveness To know his love Oh Lord we pray

[14:24] That the King's daughter May appear tonight Glorious in her raiment of need That the virgins Her companions that follow her May gather together with her And that there may be A fulfilment of that ancient promise That unto that heavenly Shiloh Shall the gathering of the people be Lord bless us with A deeper Stronger faith The wonders That God has done Encourage us in our praying Thy constant goodness to us Encourage us Encourages us In our believing And oh we pray tonight That as the friends here at Fenstanton Have their hearts so filled With thanksgiving to thee That we may come and see More than a building That we may see that greatest of all

[15:25] Thy great works That one strange work That exceeds them all That we may see Salvation by grace That we may see no man Save Jesus only And that by precious and God-given faith We may worship The Lamb of God As he now sits Exalted In his heavenly and eternal glory At the right hand Of the Father And Lord Jesus It is to thee We would come With hearts humble With hearts penitent With hearts broken We know Lord it is The broken and the contrite heart Thou wilt not despise And though we are so utterly unworthy And feel so unfitted and unsuitable For such an occasion as this Yet Lord we are even more unfitted

[16:27] And unsuited to come into the presence Of the King But Lord we would come In the name of Jesus Believing in his person That he is the Son of God Trusting in his righteousness Which is perfect And pleading that precious blood Which can alone cleanse us from all sin Lord we join in Deep thankfulness then For the past For moving the hearts of the friends here In that way of venturing faith For supporting them In their venture of faith In crowning their endeavours And with thy blessing In providing for their needs Financially In giving to them helpers In giving to them wise advisors And skill helpers In giving to them

[17:29] All those who have had a mind To work And Lord we bless thee For giving to them Those necessary abilities and gifts So that they could work And produce something Which is worthy Of the God whom we worship And yet Lord Though this is our best endeavour There seems still to be something For all we pray That in the sense of our own poverty That our best is stained and died with sin Our all is nothing worth Yet we pray that tonight There may be such a sense of thy blessing We may be able to say Lord take my all My worthless heart And make it Holy thine So Lord as this place Is in a very real way Offered up to thee For thy use

[18:29] As it has been built for Thy honour And thy glory So we do pray That those who gather in it May realise thy presence with them Or that the glory Of the Lord May fill the house of the Lord That we may catch a glimpse Of that glory Or we pray that tonight It may be that Heaven open And that in thy mercy Thou fulfil that ancient promise The friends have brought All their tithes Into the storehouse They have proved thee O Lord now The promise remains to be answered I will open the windows of heaven And pour you out a blessing There be not room enough to receive Lord we thank thee For all who have gathered here tonight We thank thee

[19:29] For that spirit of union And affection That we felt this afternoon We thank thee Lord For the preaching of thy word For thy precious truth For the strength And help given To thy dear servant To speak to us Help us Lord To value The precious truth of the gospel Help us to value Those who have ministered to us And now Lord Our needs are renewed again tonight Come in thy sovereign Gracious way Humble our hearts Soften our spirits Draw us with the cords of our man And the bands of love Bring us Lord To Calvary's cross That wondrous atonement Made for sin Bring us there To feast our souls On that precious On that precious And heavenly feast For except a man Eat of my flesh

[20:30] And drink of my blood He hath no life in him O Lord Jesus Bless us with that heavenly food And that so reviving drink That tonight we may rise up As men and women Refreshed And renewed In holy faith and zeal And all we do pray For those gracious encouragements So often it seems That we see not our signs We cannot see the things That God is doing for us It seems often That everything is hidden But Lord we walk by faith Not by sight We cast bread on the waters We labor on in hope And faith But we do pray That thy work may appear Unto thy servants And thy glory Unto their children Lord there are many

[21:32] Here tonight Who are members of churches In different parts Of the land We pray earnestly For thy blessing To be with those At places of meeting And with the churches Represented We ask thee Lord To add to them We plead with thee For that spiritual Reviving That we so desperately need Lord our hearts Are burdened They're crying out to thee For that blessing That we long for Oh that thou wouldest Bless me indeed Lord that is the Cry of so many In mercy Hear that cry In mercy Answer And may the church here Be wonderfully increased Lord may they be Amazed at the wonder Of thy power May they be surprised By thy mercy Lord it is a wonder

[22:34] That we ever know anything Of divine mercy But surprise them With thy goodness Add to them Such as should be saved There are others Here they seek Who do know the Lord Who are taught By thy spirit And yet are fearful Or maybe undecided Faltering Tempted Held back Oh Lord we pray That there might be That decisiveness In thy Gracious work In their hearts When they hear Thy voice saying Who is on the Lord's side Let him come unto him So we pray That those who are fearful Those who are weak May be made strong In the Lord That they may be able To say Even with the apostle I'm not ashamed Of the gospel of Christ

[23:35] For it is the power Of God unto salvation To everyone That believe it We do pray then There may be a gracious Work of thy spirit Tonight In gathering sinners To the saviour In giving them That strength Of faith That holy Determination Determined To know nothing Save Jesus Christ And him crucified Willing To be scorned Willing to bear The reproach But take up that cross And follow thee Oh Lord we pray That once again There may be a flocking Into thy church And that this baptistry Now closed May often be open Oh Lord we pray It may soon be open And that thy people here May rejoice In the wonderful

[24:35] Power of their God We thank the Lord For the encouragement Of such a day For the encouragement Of such a congregation Bless us all With that sweet Unity of the spirit Then our hearts Will flow together To thy goodness And to thy praise Forgive us Lord All That we forget In our praying Blot out all Our transgression Thou said Be ye clean That bear the vessels Of the Lord But we are so unclean Our motives Our motives are so mixed Often Lord we profess To be humble followers Of a meek And lowly Jesus But we are often So proud Of position And influence Lord we pray Then Cleanse us From every evil For Cleanse us Lord From everything

[25:36] That is of sinful Self And let there be Only that Consingal Minded Concern tonight That thy name May have all The praise And the honour And the glory We ask for Jesus Let us see Amen As the psalmist says Search me O God And know my heart Try me And know my thoughts And send there be Any wicked way in me And lead me In the way of life Will you allow me At this point So that our minds And critics Be not From the side At the end of the service To give the notices The anniversary services

[26:40] Of this cause The fourth widow Will be held God willing On the second Saturday in May Each year And not on The Monday At the end of August As previously I would say On behalf of those Of us Who are visiting This place We do count it A favour of our God To see this day And to be invited So lovingly To come here This day We have been Gladden To hear The account Of our friend Mr. Rowe The senior deacon At the outset When he expressed That which The Lord Has done For them Here in this place And He was able To speak Of the way In which The Lord Had provided For all their needs

[27:40] And that The supplies Have met With every Every demand That has been made Up till this point There remain But A few Outstanding Items As will be understood And Therefore There will be At the Close Of the services A plate In the foyer And Also one At the rear Of the old chapel In which Friends May Leave Their Gifts Which will be For This cause We are Glad and thankful To the Lord That He has Been So gracious To them And We look That there might be Yet More Favious Spiritual Blessings
