[0:00] We venture to a word found in this 11th chapter, Gospel of Luke, reading the first part of the 22nd verse. Luke 11, the first part of the 22nd verse.

[0:34] But when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour, wherewith he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

[1:17] We would leave the context, the solemn context in which these words are found, and feel a desire to speak of that kingdom of his grace, that kingdom in which Jesus rules.

[2:03] His subjects made willing, in the day of his power, to worship him and he alone, a stronger than he. We read an account which Moses left under the inspiration of God of the beginning of time, when the Spirit of God moved upon the waters and light shone.

[3:02] In that place that was a form, dark, without form, and void.

[3:14] That season, when it pleased the eternal God, to create the heavens and the earth, to form this world, and create man and beast upon it.

[3:40] Man formed in the image of God.

[3:52] The word records, speaks of those councils of Jehovah, ere time began. God, that is, in the name of God, that is, in the name of God, that is, in the name of God. It brings us to remember the Trinity of Persons.

[4:09] God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, as tis recorded the words of this eternal God.

[4:21] God, let us form man, let us form man, in our own image. Thus man was created.

[4:36] The likeness of God. Adam communed with God in the garden, face to face.

[4:48] Nothing there was, nothing there was, betwixt man and his creator. But, we will know the record of Holy Scripture.

[5:04] And, we feel, we can say, we know it, in experience, that Adam fall.

[5:16] The serpent beguiled Eve. Eve tempted Adam.

[5:29] They partook of that forbidden fruit. And, the curse of God was pronounced upon all mankind.

[5:40] That curse. That curse. Which, is, indeed, apparent.

[5:53] Down to this present, day and age. He spake unto Adam, thou shalt die.

[6:08] Thou shalt die. From this, we understand. Not, that he should, unpartaking of that forbidden fruit.

[6:21] Sava. Corporal death. For we know, he lived. And, tis recorded, he begat sons and daughters.

[6:34] But, he fell. But, he fell. And, his spirit. That spirit, which aforetime, could commune with God. Fell.

[6:45] Tis dead. Tis died. And, this is, that which is known and felt by each.

[6:57] That are brought under the Spirit's teaching. That, indeed, there is that enmity. That enmity. That enmity. Within the heart. That which is, indeed, against God and godliness.

[7:13] Sin reigns within. The effect of that fall. That fall of Adam. Adam's seed.

[7:26] Indeed, we are, indeed, fallen from that blessed estate of grace. And, there, but for the rich mercy of God, we lie.

[7:41] And, there, we hasten those steps unto eternal perdition. Except, there be this one, which the word reveals.

[8:01] This one, who is spoken of here. Who lies, as it were, beneath the word of God. Concealed to those that have not eyes to see.

[8:15] Concealed to those that know not the plague of their own heart. Who know and feel themselves, by nature, to be captive unto Satan.

[8:29] Willing, alas, willing captives in his kingdom. But, when, the stronger than he shall come.

[8:40] Come upon him. And, overcome him. No, is not this. That which the living soul. That one who is born of the Spirit of God.

[8:56] Longs for, often, daily. We utter, I believe, in prayer. The words of the hymn writer. It feels to, seems to express the very feelings of one's own spirit.

[9:11] Erect thy throne. Erect thy throne within my heart. And reign without arrival there. We are brought thus to realise that we are sinners.

[9:28] God breathed into Adam. Breath. And he became a living soul.

[9:45] All mankind. Must give an account. Of those deeds done in the body. There is a soul which must give an account.

[10:01] The judgment day. It must and shall come. When the judge of all the earth. Shall bring his subjects.

[10:16] Before him. To either be. Come. Or depart. Depart. There is this distinction.

[10:29] A solemn distinction. It runs throughout. The word of God. It was manifest. In those two sons. Of Adam.

[10:43] It is manifest. In their seed. By nature. We are indeed the seed. Of Adam.

[10:54] Of Adam. Fallen creed. Trone. To every evil. A heart. Which. Hankers. After. Things.

[11:07] Of this time state. And. And. Alas. Those of you. Who know. In any little measure. That of thine own heart.

[11:18] Will not quarrel. With the thought. That every evil. Is found within. The commands of God. We have. A broken.

[11:29] And we stand. Under that same curse. The soul. That sinneth. It. Shall die. Such is our condition.

[11:44] What we have. In that. Account. Of the soul. That first. Blessed word.

[11:55] Of. Comfort. And promise. That covenant promise. Of God. Unto. His people. That.

[12:07] The seed. Of the woman. Should bruise. The serpent's head. Whilst. The seed. Of.

[12:19] The serpent. Should bruise. His heel. Concealed. In that word. Is. The gospel.

[12:34] Being in that. Early time. The very beginnings of time. We have that recorded. Of the work. Of the trinity of persons.

[12:45] Blessed. Triune God. God the father. God the spirit. Moving upon the waters. And God the son.

[12:57] Three in one. And one in three. All concerned. In that salvation. Of. That. Elect number.

[13:08] That people. That people. Chosen. In the purposes. Of God. Ere time began. This. People.

[13:18] From the masses. Of humanity. Who shall be. Brought. Forth. By. The power. Of God. To.

[13:31] Realize. Their condition. By nature. One. Says. Though all. Are sinners. In God's sight. Few.

[13:41] So. Are. In. Their own. But a little remnant. A little people. Are brought.

[13:53] Burn. Under. The conviction. Of the spirit. Of God. To realize. That within. Is a leprosy. A contagious disease.

[14:04] Which. Shall. Unless. Cured. Bring. Death. Eternal perdition.

[14:18] We speak. Not of death. As being. The final. Act. But. That forerunner. That opening.

[14:28] Into. Eternity. And there. Oh. Unless. They are. Healed. Of that condition. They shall.

[14:39] Be found. At that. Bottomless pit. These we feel. Are solemn things. And we. Little thought. Of opening. On this. Strain. But the Lord.

[14:49] Knoweth. Oh. The Lord. Knoweth. There is a little remnant. They're scorned. They're despised. They're set at naught.

[15:03] They're derided. Deed. Such. Is.

[15:14] The scorn felt. At seasons. That they. Reel under it. But a little remnant.

[15:25] Brought to sea. And mourn. Or their condition. These who know. The power. Of evil. Within. Sin. Made.

[15:37] To loathe. Themselves. Because. Of. Indwelling. Sin. They realize. That they're born. In sin. And shapen.

[15:48] In iniquity. They've realized. They come forth. From the womb. The speaking. Lies. There is none good. No. Not one.

[16:00] None. Perfect. None. Holy. All. Come under that. One curse. Curse of God. Against. Sin.

[16:11] Pronounced. Upon Adam. And. His sake. Such. No. And feel. Alas.

[16:23] That union. With Adam. They quarrel not. In that realization. That they come forth. From his loins.

[16:33] And are thus. Fallen from grace. They know. And realize. Alas. That enmity. Within their heart. Against God.

[16:43] And godliness. They mourn over it. Concerned. Regarding it. Satan.

[16:55] Rules. Within their heart. Captive. Unto his will. Such is the case. And condition. Of every man. Woman.

[17:05] Child. Upon the face. Of the earth. Until. The Lord is pleased. To. Make. This truth. Known.

[17:16] In their experience. Until. He is pleased. By his. Sovereign mercy. To come. One. One. Stronger than he.

[17:28] Stronger than the. Mighty. Power. Of Satan. One. Who can come. Or. Or. That.

[17:39] Mighty power. With his. Almighty power. What foolishness. It is.

[17:51] Do. Thing. That. Any. Can come forth. From nature's. Darkness. And serve. The true.

[18:02] And living. God. In and of. Their own. Wim. Or fancy. Such. Is the language. Of.

[18:14] Those. That. Preach. Free will. We hear it. And us. On every side. Those. Who speak. Of coming.

[18:24] To Christ. Those. Who speak. As if they have. But to do this. Or do that. And. God. Will accept them.

[18:34] For their. Endeavors. It is not. In this. Way. Thou. Has learned.

[18:45] Christ. Ye have not. So. Learned. Christ. Tis. Were that. Knowledge.

[18:56] That he has. Stopped thee. In thy. Mad career. It may not be. As the apostles.

[19:07] Stopped. Being upon that. Damascus road. In a moment. In a moment of time. Brought to his knees. Brought to worship one.

[19:21] Whom he had persecuted. These instances. Are still known. Oh may we never.

[19:32] Never. Curtail. As it were. The power of God. These instances. Are known. One.

[19:43] Particular instance. We will remember. We will remember. One will start. Even as he.

[19:56] Drove home. One night. He could not go. A further. A further. Mile upon that road.

[20:10] He must return. To us. A thus far. And no further. He must return. The power of God. It is a thus far.

[20:21] A stronger than he. One would say. He would never. Never believe. Except. This was his very language. Except.

[20:32] He had a conversion. As. T'was. Source. Ere he became. Paul. These instances. The Lord in his mercy.

[20:43] Is pleased. To make evident. Even in these. Last days. But. For the most part. We verily believe.

[20:54] It is a gentle work. A hidden work. A secret work. Again. It is recorded. In those first verses. Of holy.

[21:05] It. The spirit. Moved. Upon the waters. Moved. Upon the waters. Place. Where there was no.

[21:15] For. No. Void. There was void. And so it is. In the heart of man. By nature. It is the Lord's work. He puts his hand. Upon that.

[21:26] Soul. That. Makes him a living soul. He arrests them. Causes them.

[21:36] To realize. In that measure. Which he hath. Divinely appointed. That there are. Sinners. In the sight. Of an holy.

[21:48] Heart. Searching God. And now. They see. That which they had never seen before. They were. Had been. And their old flesh.

[22:00] Was still. Subject. To the man of sin. Satan. Oh. Let none say. There is not such an one.

[22:11] The power of Satan. Is such. That he. Holds in his hand. Multitudes. Upon the face. Of the earth. And.

[22:22] This is felt. Within the heart. Of men. Those that have been. Convicted. By the spirit. Of God. They know.

[22:32] That that old nature. Is subject. Unto Satan. And ever will be. Oh. Let none deceive you. That. God. Takes that old nature.

[22:44] And makes it. Progressively. Holy. This. We. Discount. The Lord. In his rich mercy.

[22:56] Lays within the heart. Of his people. Those whom he hath. Elected. Unto eternal life. That new heart. That heart.

[23:06] Of flesh. And this. Is known and felt. By the living family. Of God. As they realize. The conflict. Betwixt. Flesh.

[23:17] And spirit. The Canaanites. Still. In the land. Of they have to mourn. Mourn. Because of the power.

[23:29] Of indwelling sin. Realizing. Realizing. Realizing. That daily. They fail. And fall. Under those. Besetting evils. Realize.

[23:42] The power of Satan. Is such. That he often. Feels to have them. In their. Very grip. Vice. Like. Grip. Indeed.

[23:52] And so. He has. All. By nature. But. At that appointed time. That set time. To favor Zion.

[24:04] Rolls on a pace. Not to propose. But call. By grace. A stronger. Than he. He has them. In his hands. With that vice.

[24:15] Like grip. And yet. At that appointed time. He must. And shall. Relinquish. That hold. Upon them. God.

[24:26] Hath appointed it. That set time. When such. Should be brought forth. From under. His dominion. And placed.

[24:36] In that kingdom. Of. His. Grace. A stronger. Than he. Shall come. We trust.

[24:49] We each know. Somewhat. Of this. Work. Of the spirit of God. Essential. Unto salvation.

[25:03] Many professions. There are. But there is. But one. True. And living God. In natural reasoning.

[25:14] Should be able. To comprehend that. God. Is everywhere. In eternity.

[25:28] In space. He's everywhere. Can there be. Any other God. There is none other God. I know not any.

[25:40] God. Is. Everywhere. God. The eternal. Ever. Living God.

[25:52] It is within the heart of man. That fallen nature. To worship. But corrupt. As that nature is.

[26:04] It will never worship God. The eternal God. Not truly worship. Except there be. That bringing forth.

[26:14] From the stronghold. The stronghold of Satan. They'll bow down. Oh. It is apparent. As we look. Or the masses. In the world. Each have.

[26:27] Their idols. As it were. Many bow down. To idols. Of wood. And stone. Raise up this. And that. The work of men's hands.

[26:37] In those. To profess themselves. Atheists. Bow down. In spirit. And worship. It is inherent.

[26:50] Inherent within mankind. But oh. What a favour it is. Would we not. Rightly. Been able to realise it.

[27:02] And say with a psalm. Bless the Lord. Oh my soul. Bless the Lord. And forget not. All his benefits. If indeed.

[27:13] Thou hast been brought. To bow before thy maker. To realise. That work. Of the spirit of God.

[27:25] That new boy. Birth. That bringing forth. Through that wicked gate. Of regeneration. Beholding afar off.

[27:37] That light. The precious light. Of the gospel. Venturing towards it. Feebly. Seeking. To attain.

[27:49] Unto the knowledge. Of Christ. To see the glory of God. In the face. Of the Lord Jesus Christ.

[28:01] With that desire. An aching void within. Which the world. Can never fill. Realising. The power of evil.

[28:13] The richness. Of thine own heart. Mourning. Grieving. Concerned. Daily often. Because of the effects.

[28:23] Of it. In thy life. One says. Daily. I'd. Wash. In Calvary's blood.

[28:35] Daily confess. My sin. My sin. Oh such. Is the work. Of the spirit of God. As they reveal. It is revealed. Unto that soul.

[28:47] From whence they've come. And still. Realising that power. Of evil within. But there it lieth. Hidden within the heart.

[28:58] And often. Through the contagious. Subtle. Temptations. Of Satan. Erupts.

[29:10] We felt it like this. At seasons. To as if. He instills that venom. Into our very bloodstream. And there there is that. That comes forth. Comes forth.

[29:22] And shows. From whence it comes. Is thy cry. Thy desire. That which. The apostle. Expressed.

[29:33] Let. This mind. Be in you. Which was also. In Christ Jesus. Who being. In the form of God. Thought it not.

[29:44] Robbery. To be equal. With God. But made himself. Of no reputation. Made himself. Of no reputation.

[29:55] Humbled. Obedient. Passive. Under the. Power of God.

[30:06] His eternal father. Submissive. To his will. Not my will. But thine be done.

[30:16] Let this mind. Be in you. This mind. Which was also. In Christ Jesus. A desire. In Christ Jesus. An enduring.

[30:30] A patient. Enduring. Suffering. A patient. Enduring. Of those. Buffetings. Of the. Evil one.

[30:42] Let this mind. Be in you. Which was also. In Christ Jesus. A desire. A desire. Wrought. By the spirit. Of God. And yet.

[30:54] Oh yet. We have to find. The flesh. Rises up. The corruptions. Of the heart. The pride. Of life. The rigid.

[31:07] Influences. Of. Of. The evil one. These things. Errupt. And cause us. Much. Shame. Much.

[31:19] Confusion. Odd. No flesh. Or glory. In his presence. We felt like this. At times. Even when.

[31:29] Buffeted. And scorned. The Lord. Will never allow. One of his. We speak it. Reverently. To gloat. He'll bring them to know.

[31:43] The truth of those words. Which we spread. Have expressed. He made himself. Of no reputation. Reputation. Indeed. Is one thing. Perhaps. We cling. Unto. But.

[31:56] He made himself. Of no reputation. He suffered. And endured. That which was laid upon him. Let this mind be in you.

[32:10] When a stronger than he is gone. Oh then. Do we not feel. The need of his. Appearing. Of one.

[32:21] Stronger. Than the adversary. One that could conquer. Those powers. Of evil within. Reign all us. As king. Accomplish thy will.

[32:33] And powerfully. Bring us forth. From all ill. We read. Yea. Commence their reading. With those words. Concerning.

[32:46] The desire. Of the disciples. When. Jesus. Had ceased. In prayer. They sought. They sought. Thus.

[32:56] Lord. Teach us. To pray. As John. Also. Taught his disciples. He led them forth. He speaks. Instructs them.

[33:09] To reverence. His great. And holy name. All this. Must ever be. That upon our spirit. As we approach. The holy one. Of Israel.

[33:19] To bow. Before him. We are but worms. Of this earth. Sinful creatures. And my acceptance. Can alone. Be found.

[33:30] In Christ. The majesty. Of heaven. Oh. Desires. To creep. Beside him. One says. As a worm. Hallowed.

[33:40] Be thy name. Thy. Kingdom. Come. Thy kingdom. Come. Satan. Rules.

[33:51] In the masses. His kingdom. Oh. It is. An expensive kingdom. It is apparent. That he.

[34:02] Wields. Great power. In these. Latter days. Many. Are held. In his. Swipe. In whose kingdom.

[34:12] In whose kingdom. Are we. Do we not cry. Like thy kingdom. Come. Thy kingdom.

[34:23] Come. That. Season. When. In. Vital experience. Shall be realized. That he reigns.

[34:34] Within. That we are subjects. Under his dominion. That our desire. Is unto him.

[34:47] In. That. Adam fall. Man. Lost. That faculty. To delight in God.

[35:00] Lost. That ability. To. Delight us. In their creator.

[35:11] God. But. In. The second Adam. In.

[35:21] The Lord Jesus Christ. One. Stronger. Than the evil one. Stronger. Than.

[35:33] Satan. Oh. There. There. By faith. They behold. That rich provision. In the gospel.

[35:46] We look within. A sink. Under. A sight. Of that. Which lies there. We feel.

[35:57] And have felt. It is but a little we know. That little. But that little we can bear. Of the abominations. Felt within. But all the extent of it.

[36:09] Is known alone. To God. But. To look away. From self. All faith.

[36:21] In. Gracious exercise. Prompted. By the spirit. Of God. Will look alone. Unto that one sacrifice. For sin.

[36:33] Oh. See there. The one. That one. That conquered. The powers of darkness. Satan.

[36:46] His agents. They thought it was. Their day. Indeed. The Lord exclaimed. It is the day of darkness.

[36:58] It is thy day. The day of darkness. It is that hour. That hour of darkness. But oh.

[37:09] As. It is to be realized. In experience. Satan. All way. Outsteps. Himself.

[37:21] Or runs. Himself. He thought. There. He had put an end. To all that was proclaimed. Concerning the promised Messiah. It was indeed.

[37:33] A day of darkness. Behold. The Lamb of God. Slain. Upon Calvary's cross. Behold him. Suffering there.

[37:46] The day of darkness. They thought. They had gained. They had gained. Their ends. We read. Of that watch. Which that was instructed. Should be set.

[37:57] Or the sepulcher. That none could steal him away. They feared. Even there. That there should be. That coming forth. From.

[38:08] The grave. But all their efforts. Were futile. They were. As we've often had to express. But furthering.

[38:18] The designs. Of God. In his salvation. For sinners. And. They were put in. Oh solemn it is.

[38:29] To realize. They were even. In the hand of God. In these things. To further. His. Wondrous intentions.

[38:40] Intentions. Towards. His people. They thought it. Their hour. In reality.

[38:51] Towards the hour. When Christ. Himself. Conquered. Hearken unto the word. Of triumph. It is finished.

[39:03] A stronger than he. A stronger than he. It is finished. The work is accomplished. The deed is done.

[39:16] Sin abounded. In that place. In Gethsemane. And upon Calvary. The sins of all. The election of grace. A great. Multitude.

[39:26] Of iniquity. But where sin abounded. Grace. Did much more abound. A stronger than he. He overcame. Overcame.

[39:38] The powers of darkness. The very. Temple. The curtain. Of the temple. Was rent. From the top. To the bottom. Signifying that.

[39:50] Opening. Into the holiest. Of holies. That way. Of access. Unto the. God. Unto God. In heaven. A greater than he.

[40:01] Accomplished. Oh. Accomplishing there. The eternal purposes. Of God. Purposed. Eretzim. Began. For the salvation. Of his people.

[40:12] A greater than he. A greater than he. Laid. In the sepulcher. But the grave.

[40:22] Could not hold him. Death. Could not contain him. We preach. Not. A dead Christ. But a risen Christ.

[40:33] Would know nothing. Amongst men. Save Christ. And him crucified. He rose again. He rose again. Triumphant.

[40:45] Conqueror. All the powers of darkness. One. Stronger than he. He rose. Triumphant. Revealed himself.

[40:56] As a risen Christ. Unto Mary. And those. Disciples. Favored with that sight. With their mortal eyes. One that overcame.

[41:08] The powers of darkness. I am he. That was dead. And am alive again. And have the keys. Of death.

[41:19] And of hell. We preach. An ascended Christ. One now. At the father's right hand. Sat down. That work.

[41:30] Accomplished. Now. Carrying on. That work. Above. Advocating. The cause. Of his people. And tis.

[41:41] Thus. This. Weak. Feeble people. Now. Overcome. The powers of evil. Through the intercession.

[41:52] Of Christ. The cry of the worldling. It comes to mind. Is it not that. Which was. Hurled. At. Nehemiah. What do.

[42:03] These feeble Jews. Cry of the worldling. As they behold. This weak. Despised. Rejected people. What do. These feeble Jews.

[42:14] Yet. Oh. They derive their strength. From he. That hath overcome. And is now. At the father's right hand. Advocating their cause.

[42:25] Pleading for them. They. Sustert. Their. Their strength is sustained. From that support. Given. Realised through that fullness.

[42:36] Which is in Christ. That fullness. Which ever abides. To answer. Their needs. A kingdom. The kingdom.

[42:47] Of. His grace. And. At. The close of time. These shall be translated. Into.

[42:58] The kingdom. Of. His. Glory. And there. Shall they ascribe. All honor and glory. To him that hath overcome.

[43:10] One. Stronger. Stronger. Than Satan. Stronger. Than they. Themselves. All their iniquities. All their rebellion.

[43:21] They are the scribe. All honor and glory. Unto him. Who has saved them. With. An eternal. Salvation. Amen.
