Portsmouth - Salem

The church was formed in 1813 when seven members left the Baptist Church in Portsea and a Chapel was built in 1814 in White Swan Fields. In January 1941, the building was destroyed by enemy action during the Second World War, and the congregation then met in the city until the present Chapel was built in 1959.
