The power, glory and victory of Christ (Quality: Poor, incomplete)

[0:00] Once again, I would desire to draw your attention to the words you will find in the 29th chapter, First Book of Chronicles, the 11th verse.

[0:13] The 11th verse, the 29th chapter, First Book of Chronicles. Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty.

[0:33] For all that is in heaven and in the earth is Thine. Thine is the kingdom, O Lord. Thine is the kingdom, O Lord.

[1:13] As the Lord is free to help. One feels beneath His help. And the power of the Holy Spirit. That we might be glad to be right to speak.

[1:27] And that the word might be conveyed unto the souls of the hearers. and that there may be some prophets of faith.

[1:42] For it is only in his womb the witness of the Holy Spirit. There can be prophets. Man might speak many words.

[1:55] He might be very learned. But at the same time, unless it be by the Holy Spirit, it is of no fun other than just to entertain the mind of man.

[2:17] As we come into God's house, God knows only of us feel to want something more than superficial things.

[2:30] But we need to win off those things that shall be witnessed in our hearts and that shall give us some evidence that we know those things which are written in his sacred world.

[2:53] Then we mentioned on the path of the evening concerning how that David had desired to build a house for the dwelling place of his God.

[3:11] And that it is not always wise, perhaps on our part, for God there, you see, on this occasion had not added in his will that David should do the work but that his son Solomon should be the one that should do the building of this house.

[3:39] But David made preparation surely have a love in his heart who was God since he desired to make that preparation.

[3:56] Well, we spoke then of those things which he prepared and read all of them to in this particular chapter and we spoke then of his greatness his greatness in all that he did for and on behalf of his people for we did venture that though this is the historical part of God's word as some would tell it there is much in it that is applicable unto the child of God here in this day we live especially this verse that it may be opened up to our understanding by the Spirit while we spoke of his greatness and that we were speaking of his power that power that he may know by

[5:01] God our to the sinner that power I wish for us to call you out of nature's darkness into his marvelous light that power that he may know in the souls and witness in the souls when Paul out of his world and Paul across the people of the world and this power he may know under a child of God we mentioned that there was nothing that could witness death and I'm sure we may have a few more thoughts here that whatever condition a person may be in this world have a body have a power from God there is none that can resist this power when it is spoken the word is spoken in the conscience there are those that we have in let's report that we know by their own testimony they went far and wide let the things of this world look at the earth those beautiful hymns we have lessons and records that he could resist his power as so as he have been brought forth by the power of God and also we've been able to write so beautiful hymns for us as we might have some knowledge of those things that are written for our comfort to get part of his friends that power that is made in and for and on your behalf and mine so when that is made those of the moment we end up our way and also cause us to feel uneasy in the things of the world

[7:58] I could no more flee from them have and flee out from the strong strength themselves of power they be willing to get out of my power likely to bring them more bring them more out of nature darkness and he'll bring them forth by his power of everything that is false yes I am sure and that God will reveal sooner or later those things that are false and I might say here you'll be able to deserve to deserve those things that are false when this faith would fall before us speaks again death or does not recall that it's honorable or what a mercy is to have the under power that we cannot go to those lengths that want to be well we're people are under his power all those that they cannot hold up deep hands may I say with those that do not hold to the darkness we believe and the truth that is laid down in God's words we shall not be able to walk because

[9:56] God's power will hold us with those that have the word of God upon them and yet they do not walk his commands according unto his words for you know in the words we read this morning those religious poke around in the Pharisees you see those who followed Christ could not walk with them but there were those who received them because they saw him to be the son of God and that one who came here on earth to save and redeem his people they beheld his power and they beheld his power in that he silenced those who were around them when he beheld his fair crappy hands all water searching to facilitate their oh that tries to do every one that was around them when they paid for him in their crowd to catch him in his ball you see how he did not attempt to answer their questions for in that he has told us in another part of the world to follow him in this example foolish but unlearned question to boys have he fulfilled that truth when he avoided their foolish and unlearned questions

[12:15] God asked you once he answered me so our dear saviour knew and could not answer that we keep him there and so then his power was my knowledge in that he searches in most resistant of the heart of that those are being in with thoughts how I felt this coming to hear this morning how he realised everything that he understands and knows our every thought those pardoned may know in that he searches the heart and when he does do it we shall find we have very little truth and new remittance but as you heard me say at times if we have a wonderful favouring because if we have a ripple of a true religion it'll leave our vision to land us far above all our views and ultimately land us in that place where there'll be no more interest on here no more fasting with the power of

[14:13] God has no more coming to God and feeling foul and in better use but always in that little freedom which we desire and no other field along here on earth well his power power was sufficient then to call us and his power is made open in the preaching of the gospel the water will be when the power is made whole so what did me on one occasion that doesn't seem there's so much power before which today I wonder though my friends have cut both ways to remind you that expression and

[15:20] I said well there's really power in the field so it needs both that we want the Holy Spirit to come and grant that his power may be made known in our midst and that the power of the Holy Spirit might reveal a precious Christ unto ours and that that power might be made known in the poor and in the field and then there must be and will be a blessing against the world oh I am often for what a favorite is when we can feel that we have the prayers of God's people that we can't be for them God can't encourage us to press on though there seems so much opposition within

[16:30] God can't have gone back even like it was with dear Jeremiah when he felt he could not go anymore then God told him to go and preach the preaching and I can believe so that there are times when we feel that need this power in our midst for thine it O Lord is the greatness and the power and the glory the glorious seed we've been singing of it this morning the glorious seed is the face of Jesus Christ you won't find any glory anywhere else I'm sure you'll never find anything in self ignoring if you have a religion and those who do have a religion like the

[17:44] Pharisees who love to be in the market places where there are and to make long prayers before him to receive a man now not power and not glory here but the glory in Jesus Christ in him when we filled him as he came near of her as he became the propitiation of our sins to deliver us from the curse of sin that he might present us ultimately before the father without any wrinkle or blemish so that glory was seen in when he or oh the glory that surrounded him when dear

[18:57] God beheld him when the Holy Spirit rested upon him as a guard and when John heard that voice saying to his mind of his son in whom are well pleased there is the glory of the son of man that glory that shod her soul blessedly all those out went upon the amount of transfiguration so I mentioned I believe in the past he there was his power and glory that was when he was transfigured before him stolen there were those times here when his glory was seen by them rather a time when the poor tried troubled soul of

[20:17] God behold his glory as it revealed with him the sacred word that they will I don't mean it is always made known in the power we were desired but have you ever come across one word in the gospel or one sentence as were that you have not seen in the Lord how when also that was declared by him I love me with never last he loved therefore with loving kindness have I warned me that where his glory may hold in his precious property to all gain and amen in and when it is applied by the holy prayer it will pour you to praise and praise him for all his glory so that there will be beholding his glory as we read the word of

[21:55] God as I said many times with regards to it you'll find it in the Old Testament here and there he called his glory I believe that dear Ruth beheld his glory when Boaz came on earth and why have I found favor in life son she I am a stranger she saw his glory and glory earth and as seen in Boaz as we look upon our empty Boaz and behold his glory sure use the language of even if we stand before him then there would be her see how she come into that place where

[23:16] I believe she beheld this war so she came there her before her promise she misunderstood but her lips knew prayer yes there will be this prayer go up under him when her one behold is brought cry under him in prayer for one feels sometimes in prayer I don't know how you feel about it I may have a companion of you know my heart but you know there are times that our prayers seem to be so broken so ineffective and we have to come away out from the throne of grace ashamed of our prayers well we look at this in the right line it's better to be lost than to be lost as other seeds who are satisfied and might dig into prayers but just break away here just for a moment on that particular point you know we might often look at others instead of looking at ourselves when we speak of the

[24:56] Pharisees but you know when Christ is too men went up to the temple to pray you are the man too many ones yeah now we're speaking better than that point two men went up to the temple to pray one of other seeds rather public the old man of sin the new man of grace and one comes up to the temple to pray and Pharisees quite happy about him sometimes goes away from the house of God to pray at night and quite free about him another time he comes the public and that that is the truth and I believe it will be true that we may be molested with wretched Pharisees and may be think something of ourselves but

[25:58] I do believe this that God will do that we have been to a place where he'll come tell us to pray the prayer of the president he'll break down the Pharisees cry which is cry in the heart of man for how he'll speak when they were how troublesome they are to us are they know I believe God serves sometimes at for whom Satan has ever when he heard his plaster up in his air sometimes he comes that way he he said love to serve and cause you God's service to be pumped up with pride probably with pride he didn't do he now to thine oh lord is the greatness and the power and the glory the glory in his body in him the lord and saviour jesus friends that glory he had with the father before the foundation of earth that glory that received of those that came around him and who were the who saw the glory of those the sick and the helpless and the poor so there were the sick folks that came unto him and saw his glory he saw the glory his power to heal their knowledge from that initiative that you've got this morning can you say as the covenant of

[27:56] God has bowed in darkness and as seems of the iron barred all around you cannot come forth well there were those here on earth and that be held there and it will be a sickness to you and it will seem to weaken and bring you into that place where you'll begin to feel that you have no part or loss nor be loyal in your room you shall have no part or loss with it before and you'll be so trying that you'll wonder about the world you know anything about the world well these are tested times and we'll be brought into them because God's faith shall be tried as we oppose all those faith so that should surely try and how the dear apostasy plainly declared the trial of your faith need much more precious than a gold of pleasure so he tried with fire so he'll try every man's word and what sort is in use we are one of mercy if by glorious power we shall be able to see that we have been delivered from these things and only by his grace and his mercy then tune oh be glorifying it in our walk and life. For so much that I come through there, but don't we all, I say don't we all, in our walk and life, why, I am sure that if we are the recipients of his great reverses, how we shall fall daily more, because we cannot fall for circumstances, because we cannot fall for his commands, not speaking here now that that one commands that that's to the fear, but all his commands, that we cannot fall in those things, how we have laid down this, we have only had things that enable that. And yet to have that involvement, that desire, to have that in our hearts, to desire to walk daily, however I have fought,

[31:23] I would live and hold as God is holy. He would have one more thing, and would never once more speak one word unbrily again. But you know my friends, who know to do, the more we strive the more we strive to do, the more we strive to do, the more we strive to do, the more we strive to do, the more we strive to do. And so we shall find nothing in our souls to lift us up, or to rejoice in. When indeed the more I look at my soul, the more the testable the old man is.

[32:11] The old man is. I don't say that any of those former things he's done by the testable, but I say he did testable the old man is good. So that everything that is unerceived, flowing, and it's not doing, are those things which are broken down. Let me pray.

[32:43] No matter where the instant I'm wrong. Father has no reason for keeping me so won't be compliant.

[33:03] and the earth. Thine then is the glory and the victory. And the victory is his.

[33:17] There's no victory outside of us. I'm sure you and I cannot gain the victory over the things I've tried to set forth concerning ourselves.

[33:29] And there's only that one that can gain that victory for an unalveyor who calls it.

[33:42] He gained it for us when here on earth the victory over sin the victory over death. Not only the port of death but over the death we feel in our nature and the death we feel even upon our spirit of life.

[34:08] To be our heart is yet to win things all about things but the wicked is without things seek it to the sacred plan or without this death we feel how soon this seems to come upon us I think different from our heart past life though we may have had the past held by the way though we may have been delivered many times and yet there is a return of this condition I've felt I wonder if there's someone here this morning like this what field that it records how I'm sure that there's times when the word is spoken for on behalf of such it's not an easy path to walk in but a field this death in the soul and in those things which we hope once we fell living in our way we all my friends to feel this and endow it after feeling the life in the soul will cause us much anguish and sorrow and to cry return once for all let me once more live only alive once come once more and gain the victory over all my enemies come once more and deliver me for those who hope perhaps to me oh you won't find any searching for enemies without my friends when you feel these enemies with them these are they real enemies because they are enemies that are souls and I swore that if he did not gain the victory for us that was to see the hope and first he was never found by the victory of him he gained the victory over the power of

[37:03] Satan who seeked to molest us even in the house of God sometimes or how he comes so close to to call us even relenting that we or or call us to before him that place where we might be done before him but he having gained the victory of how the poet is our company through the fire in that we stand for him so that he having stood against the temptation of Satan in the wilderness side your arms go through his wilderness he belongs tempted at every hand at every shore yet at the same time our

[38:08] Savior stands with him to gain the victory to stand with feet as at one does not permit these things to come and destroy and I tell you what they will do now bring you to anchor home in heaven bring you to the throne of grace oh Lord I am of rest under faith of me oh Lord I feel a flower sweet in arms oh Lord I feel so blind touch my eyes once more with a little heavenly eye song that I may see what received as a by door come once more and grant that so

[39:08] I see lifted for nothing of things ago that I may be once again behind all these times that we look back upon they encourage us to rest on through all obstacles through all those powers that be coming against us why you know we dare not give off our poor to give out the dangerous wounds deep despair oh what a versatile feel like the drowning man of the night so put forth his hands and can't hold anything to avoid that he might keep his head above water oh when we feel in a sinking condition may we remember our dear saviour when when on the mighty ocean came to end his high and there was that one that gained the victory over the mighty waves of the sea gained the victory over all there he is gained the victory over satan and in the oh what adversity is he should come before the day close and say that thy poor troubled soul of mine peace be still that his majesty may be made known that the victory may be made known which has delivered us from our many fears and sorrows and while these things are not pleasant to face

[41:06] I feel they are profitable because they bring us down before him and nothing else will I do when he is chasing it upon us then in how we return unto him all which have unto ourselves return unto God myself right might be unto him that he may gain the victory before not thy behalf that deliver in the power of hell and the darkness of all thy fears oh that the victory may be made noble here before us that we may be delivered out of those things and of them and ways that thine

[42:10] O Lord is the great and the power and the glory and the well may he grant us that we may ever look unto him as the captain of our salvation and that we may prove that he has gained the victory and that we may follow him and that we may behold him as the one who has gained that victory for an albinar why are the one past them must move men Georgia why are they like whine and do you our thoughts van get paid
