[0:00] And the words I would venture to try and make a few remarks from you will find in the first epistle of John, the fourth chapter, the sixteenth, and a part of the seventeen verses.
[0:18] The sixteenth and a part of the seventeen verse of the first epistle of John, fourth chapter. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
[0:37] God is love. And he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect that we may have boldness in the day of judgment.
[0:59] How John, in these particular chapters, I believe is setting before us the difference betwixt the old man of sin and the new man of grace.
[1:26] For the old man of sin is what he ever was. But the new man, newly created of God, is that man that cannot sin and does not sin.
[1:46] And so that we have also set before us in these chapters the necessity of having love in our hearts one toward another.
[2:07] And I am sure that this will be made manifest. When we are brought into the knowledge of the truth, it will overthrow all the faults and failings of the flesh.
[2:30] And they will be looking beyond all those failings. To those things that we hold God hath brought in us by the Spirit.
[2:50] And I do feel where this love is made known. There are times when all things will be brought into subjection.
[3:03] And we shall know that we love the brethren. And so then it is your mercy and mine.
[3:20] If we are brought into that experience. Where we can feel love one toward another. In the most important and essential points in our lives.
[3:35] The love of God. Seen. And witnessed.
[3:46] In the soul. Well in these words here before us. John says and we have known.
[4:00] And believed. Well there was a time with us. When we neither knew nor believed.
[4:13] We may have had some religion. And had some knowledge of these things. In the letter of truth.
[4:24] But we know by the word. That the letter killeth. It is the Spirit. That maketh alive.
[4:37] And if we have. No other religion. Than a letter religion. It is definitely clear.
[4:49] We have not. The vital realities. Of true godliness. Walk in our souls. Then.
[5:00] We must have something more. Than letter knowledge. Something more. Than that. That is upon the surface.
[5:11] Of the letter of truth. And while we speak thus. Here of the letter of truth. It doesn't mean. When we speak thus.
[5:22] That. We do not love. The letter of truth. But in itself. It will be. Of no avail.
[5:34] Unless. By the enshining. Of the Holy Ghost. We have it made. A flickable. To our souls. And those things.
[5:47] Which God gives. In our hearts. To witness. By divine teaching. Through life journey.
[6:00] And therefore. I believe. There is that necessity. That we should have. That knowledge.
[6:11] Given to us. By the spirit. That whereas once. We did not know. These things.
[6:23] And yet. Now. By the spirit of God. We can say. And we have known. And believed.
[6:35] We have known. These things. Not by. Observation. Not by. A normal belief. Not by hearsay.
[6:48] But. We shall come. Like they did. When the woman. Went on. Into the city. Come. See a man. That told me.
[7:00] All things. Whatever I did. Is not this for Christ. And you know. They came. And they said. Now we believe. Not because of thy word.
[7:12] But because. We have seen him. Ourselves. How it is. My earnest desire. As I come. Before you. My friends.
[7:24] Here. And elsewhere. And that. They may be able to come. And witness. And be able to say.
[7:35] Now we believe. Not because of thy word. That is my word. The declaration of the truth. Not because of that. But we have seen him ourselves.
[7:48] Well. And that. And that. Oh I say. What. A wonderful. Unspeakable. Blessing. If God should come here. Amongst us. That there should be those.
[7:59] That would be able to witness. To that truth. That we have seen him. Our souls. Well we pray for it.
[8:12] And we hope the day may come. And we depart this mortal man. When God will answer our crime. That we may be able to return.
[8:25] Thanks unto him. That there are those. That have seen him. Themselves. And we have known. And believed.
[8:37] Well. There is unknowing him. And. The way he is known. Is not by.
[8:48] Outward observation. But by the revealing. Of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit reveals him.
[9:01] And. And presents him. May I say. You ever have been. Before the eyes of our face. That.
[9:12] We see him. And know him. As being. The eternal. And everlasting son. Of the eternal.
[9:24] And everlasting father. Revealed to us. By the eternal. And everlasting. Holy Spirit. Three one eternal God.
[9:35] In. In. The. Witnessing. To our souls. That we know him. It's a wonderful mercy.
[9:46] To know him. There were those. Around him. Here on earth. That. Knew him. With the outward eye. May I say that rightly.
[10:00] As. Seeing him. And there was some. That believed he was the Christ. But had not life in the soul. That's close in him.
[10:13] I believe Judas Iscariot. Knew him to be the Christ. But he had not life in the soul. He did not know him. And so then.
[10:25] There is. An outward. Manifestation. Of these things. And many. May have. A religion. But not really know him.
[10:39] I say again. He is known by. The revealing. Of the Holy Ghost. May I say. The Holy Ghost. Ghost presents him.
[10:51] As. The risen. Lord. And Savior. As that one. That hath. Entered into. Heaven above.
[11:05] And we read. In the same. Epistle. That if any man. Said. We have an apple cat. With the father. Oh.
[11:16] What a mercy. It is then. If we have known him. And believe. And. And believed. That he is. A very God.
[11:28] And very man. That he is the eternal. Son of God. And was that. Co-equal. Co-eternal with the father. Before all eternity.
[11:41] Jesus Christ. The son. Of the living God. The only begotten of the father. From before the foundation of the world. As he was.
[11:54] Appointed in the eternal covenant. To become the propitiation of our sins. And to deliver us from the powers of hell.
[12:06] And all its damning power. God. Oh. The greatness of Jesus. The love of Christ. So sovereign. And so free.
[12:17] So unmerited. And so gracious he is to forgive. And we have known and believed. The love of. The love that God had to us.
[12:29] Even in his love. The love that he had to us. In that. He calls us to know him. And to believe.
[12:41] All that. Believing in him. Now. One came. There may be one here like this. One came to him here on earth.
[12:52] And he said. Lord I believe. Help thou. My unbelief. Oh I know. Enough about unbelief.
[13:03] To know what a terror it is. To a child of God. One said. I would but.
[13:13] I would but cannot believe. Oh Lord. Help my unbelief. And so. There is. A time when.
[13:25] Unbelief. How will seem to be dominant. In our hearts. But may I say this.
[13:36] At that point. How does this unbelief. Which troubles you. Act with you. Does it drive you further from God.
[13:46] Or nearer. I know. If you have known. And believed. The love of God. That have. That God has to ask.
[14:00] What it will do. It will drive you. Closer to God. And you will cry out. On. In the burden of it.
[14:11] And you will fear. That it is the unbelief. Of the hypocrite. The unbelief of those. That fell in the wilderness. Of the literal.
[14:23] Children of Israel. But you know. Those. Who fell in the. In the wilderness. Were never.
[14:34] In the covenant. They were. In the literal Israel. There was two. That went into the land.
[14:45] Of Cain. Of those that came out of Egypt. Sovereignty. Of God. In the land. Oh. When we think of his sovereignty. And of his.
[14:57] Intervenant counsels. And wills. Of all men. How this causes us. To acknowledge. His sovereign right.
[15:08] And. And heavenly swine. Toward men. And we have known. Believed. The love.
[15:19] That God hath to us. This love. That was set upon. His own. In eternity. Before all worlds.
[15:31] Upon. The whole election. Of grace. That were ordained. Of the father. Given. Given under the sun.
[15:43] And we did. By that precious love. Which he shed upon the cross. And also. That glorious righteousness.
[15:56] Which he obtained for us. When. He gave his. Life. A fortune. For sinners. Sinners.
[16:10] Vile. Like you and I. If I know anything. Of the father. I'm sure you'll be. The violence of sinners. If you've known.
[16:21] Believed. The love. That God hath to us. I'm sure. I'm sure. That there would never be. An argument. Who was the cheapest.
[16:32] Of sinners. For I believe. That all God's people. Sure or may to. Feel. The cheapest. But. I do believe.
[16:44] That there are. Five hundred pence debtors. And fifty pence debtors. Some always feel to be. Far beyond. Five hundred pence.
[16:57] And yet. We hope. We have known. And believe. The love. The love. That God hath to us. That love. And then. Had its source.
[17:09] In heaven. Yea. The source of that love. Proceeded. From beneath. The throne of God. And the man. In that precious river.
[17:20] That flows. And which we read. In the psalm. There is a river. The streams. Whereof. Make land. The city of God.
[17:32] We have known. And believed. The love. That God hath to us. In that he does. From time to time. Cause this river of his love.
[17:43] To flow. Flow. In. In amongst his people. And. All. Those graces.
[17:55] Proceed. From his love. That love. Which is. An everlasting love. Knows no change.
[18:06] You know. Our love. Knows a change. Doesn't it? If I may be prudent here. There's times. When our love. Is.
[18:17] Is far more in exercise. May I say. And far more felt. One to another. Than others. It.
[18:29] It knows a change. But God's love is the same. He being the same today. Yesterday. And forever.
[18:40] That is to say. The same in eternity past. The same true time. And the same in eternity to come. To yesterday.
[18:50] Today. And forever. An unchangeable. Inputable love. Or do you crave for this love sinner? Are you thirsting for this love?
[19:03] Are you praying for this love? Are you longing to feel. The power of it in thy soul? Wherein you may come forth.
[19:15] And embrace him as your saviour. As your redeemer. To say this is my beloved. I've been waiting for him.
[19:26] Yea. Maybe many many years. And now he has come. God. And here. You will find and know. Should he come to your poor, dark, troubled breast.
[19:40] You'll know the joy. The peace. And the love. That is. That emanates from his love. And there.
[19:51] You'll find. That there is. A closing in with Christ. The only time we may use that word. Closing in with Christ.
[20:04] There will be an embracing. Your beloved. And you will say. This is my beloved. This is my friend. Is he? What I say.
[20:15] Is you are unable to say that. You know what Christ said in answer to it. When you can call him your friend. He says. Greater love. Has no man than this.
[20:28] Than a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends. If you do. If you keep my commandments. Oh I say. This.
[20:39] This wonderful. Kindred spirit. May I say. Betwixt Christ and his church. His people. This blessed oneness.
[20:50] There is. When we know a little. Of the love of Christ in the soul. When we are brought in contact with him.
[21:01] When we can say. And feel. And cry. Abba. Father. My Lord. And my God. Blessed union isn't it.
[21:13] I wish I could feel more of it. And nevertheless. It's a glorious truth. One of those truths we would embrace. In the arms of our faith. And cling to it.
[21:25] Hold fast to it. And die with it. Clasped in the hands of our faith. Here it is love. As we view it.
[21:39] In Christ. And we have known. Believed. The love of God. That God has. To us. To have this love.
[21:49] Then. Made known to us. Personally. Is. Is that which. Will cause us. To break forth in praise.
[22:00] And adoration. Under him. It will indeed. It will cause us. To. To. Sing. Praises. Under him. Not with a lip.
[22:11] Always. Oh my friends. That. Deep. Unfathomable mystery. When one is able to sing. Praises. The soul thing.
[22:23] And I mean. Inwardly. You can't fathom. Or give to another. Or understand. Yourself sometimes. That there is a breaking forth. Into praise and adoration.
[22:34] Under him. In the soul. Here in the dying. Believe the time. When. The trees of the forest. Clap their hands. And.
[22:46] And sing praises. Unto him. And when. A child of God. Is favoured to go forth. In the dances of them. That make many.
[22:57] Yea. There are these things. In the heart. Love. Adoration. Peace. Joy. And many other things too. And that will. And bring forth into praise.
[23:09] There are no little men. Of the truth. When dear Bivia. Went forth with the timbrel. And those with her. And sung praise unto God. For his great deliverance.
[23:21] So there will be. In the soul. Of God's people. When God comes. And delivers the soul. From Egyptian bondage. And from the law.
[23:33] And all his curses. Surely there will be then. A breaking forth. Into adoration. And peace. And joy. Under him.
[23:45] For all his love. And mercy toward him. Dost thou remember. A time. Friends. When. You knew a little. Of that peace. Those of you.
[23:56] May not be able to say. That you've known it. Are you longing for it. Are you praying for it. Ode and ode. Something about peace. That peace.
[24:07] That's past. It's all understanding. And. There may be one or more here. Realizing. They're drawing on. To their journey. End. And they're longing to know more.
[24:19] Or something of this peace. Crying unto God for it. Well. If it is your. A heartfelt desire. May you be able to tarry.
[24:32] At. The mercy seat. May you be able to tarry. Even. On the brink of a fountain. Ahem. Ahem.
[24:43] Like a dear man. That lay in Bethesda's pool. Thirty and eight years. May you be able to. Continue.
[24:54] To lay. On the brink. I say. Of the fountain. Even the precious fountain. Of Christ. Ahem. Precious blood. That you may indeed.
[25:07] Still. Lament. Over thy sins. Still. Crying. For mercy. And deliverance. And that you may. There. And you will find.
[25:19] In due time. As your prayers. Go upward. To heaven. He will rise up. The prey. The tank. He will. Though you may.
[25:30] Feel the light. Feel like the prey. In the hand of the fowl. Who is this fowl. But Satan. Though you may. Feel the light. In his hands. Yet.
[25:41] God will arise. And take me. From the hand of the fowl. He will deliver thee. Sinner. And he will bring you. Into that peace. And that joy. I wish the world.
[25:52] Know not all. And which. The professor. Of religion. Knows not all. Wherein they. Think it strange. That you run not.
[26:03] With them. To the same. Excessive right. Marvel not. My brethren. If the world. Hate you. Surely. There will be those. If you are.
[26:14] Really. Desiring these. Vital realities. That will not. Receive you. Or understand. You. But. There will be.
[26:25] In your hearts. To. Following on. Crying out. Under him. And. I will be. Stretching forward.
[26:37] Shall I say. Shall I say. To lay hold. Of that life. Which is set before us. And we have known.
[26:48] And believe. The love. That God. That God. To us. God is love. It is he. That is love.
[26:59] Oh. I wish I. More love. That love. Which is. Is so. Made manifest.
[27:12] And I'm sure. When this love. Is in exercise. We shall have. Given to us. A forgiving spirit. I'm sure of it. I love that.
[27:24] Forgiving spirit. That. Is made. Made known. By. The love of God. You know. The disciples.
[27:35] Came to him. How often shall I. Forgive my brother. Seven times. What did Christ say. To teach us. What love is really. Under seven times.
[27:49] But I say. Under 70 times seven. That's love. Love. So then. It is a mercy. We have. That love.
[27:59] In our hearts. That. Eminates. From the love of God. Which. Here. It says. God is love. And so.
[28:10] If we have that love. In our hearts. There will be. I feel. I feel sure. A desire. To. Move. And act. And walk.
[28:21] In those things. And yet. We shall find this. We still have. As a flesh. We shall find this. And we shall come.
[28:32] Missibly short of it. But there is this mercy. That though we come. Missibly short of it. Amen. If we have this love.
[28:44] In our hearts. It will grieve us. It will. It will cause us. To have many an error. To a throne of grains. That he will subdue.
[28:55] Our natures. Subdue. Those things. Which are so eminent in us. In our flesh I mean. That he will.
[29:07] Break down. Old Carl Weasen. Old Noah. And. All his colleagues. That are in our hearts.
[29:17] That he would indeed. Put them under his feet. But as we. Apostles. As we. We see not yet. All things put under him.
[29:29] But the day will come. When we shall see it. My friends. The day will come. When. We shall see all things. Put under his feet. The wicked. The world.
[29:41] And all the things of it. And we hope. When all things are put under his feet. We may then see Jesus.
[29:52] And him only. I've often thought. Especially of late. I don't often speak about.
[30:03] My personal experience. More like health. But I've felt that. Especially of late. I wish I could. Trample many things. Under my feet. That one is a subject of. You know.
[30:17] I do feel that. There are some. That exchange. Some of these things. Because. Of their. Being born. Perhaps.
[30:28] With a. Genial. And. Comfortable. And quiet. Disposition. I say. Oh. They know nothing. Of that particular path.
[30:39] Yet they have their trials. I'm not minimizing it. But. This particular path. I'm speaking of here. To some of us. Which. Trappled them under our feet. As being.
[30:50] Our biggest terrors. And torments. Through this life's journey. But nevertheless. God is love. And he.
[31:00] His love and mercy. Adores. Come. And subdue them. That your mercy and mine. These things are subdued.
[31:11] And brought into subjection. So that he sends. From time to time. Thus. Far. Far. Shalt thou go. And no further. And there.
[31:22] To life. Where a way to be stayed. He does not permit. All these things. To comfort. War. And. To defile us.
[31:34] Oh. What a mercy it is. And that he is loved. That that love is made. No. To us. That he does not. Deal with us.
[31:45] After our sins. Nor reward us. According to our iniquities. That he hath not cut us down. As cumberers of the ground. Well.
[31:57] Surely. It must be. That we are bearing some fruit. It is not cut us down. You know. He came to the fig tree. And found no fruit there on.
[32:08] He said. Cut it down. Why. Come with it the ground. So that. There must be some fruit. Isn't that a mercy.
[32:19] We are bearing some fruit. Some might say. Well I don't seem to bear much. Well it is the quantity.
[32:29] Fruit is fruit. You know. When he's over the years of corn. He says. Some thirty. Some sixty. Some a hundredfold.
[32:41] And so it is with the fruit. Ah. That. Is not the quantity. It's the quality of the fruit. Is that fruit. That is made perfect.
[32:52] In the love of Christ. In the love of God. But there is a fruit. That is rotten. At the poor. And that is the fruit of the flesh.
[33:05] The false fruits. Of religion. That are rotten at the poor. That fruit. That will not remain. Oh.
[33:17] Oh. Christ spoke. When he said. And that's your fruit. Might remain. Isn't it a mercy to have. That fruit that remains.
[33:30] And also. He said. A good tree. Cannot bring forth corrupt fruit. Neither can a corrupt tree. Bring forth good fruit.
[33:42] There you have again. The two natures. I believe. Are the. Old man. And the new.
[33:54] Surely. We have to. Have to mourn. And witness. Day by day. That the fruits of a flesh. Are evil. And that from our birth.
[34:06] The fruits of a spirit. Of the new man of grace. Which are the fruits of the spirit. Are those. Which. Are given unto us.
[34:20] Sovereign and free. And unmerited. So then there is. A divine. In line. Between the old man of sin. And the new man of grace.
[34:31] That man. That was. That was born wicked. And. And remains. Alienated from God. And the new man of grace. Which is born again.
[34:42] Of the spirit. That cannot sin. And his seed. Remaineth in him. And is holy. As God is holy. As the father.
[34:53] Fusing in Christ. Without blemish. Or any such thing. Oh. Our little we hear. To die. Of the two natures. Which have been held.
[35:04] Far. Put forth. In the word of God. And also. Through the ages. By the. By the disciples. The apostles.
[35:15] And by the old divines. And a few. And a very few. In the day we live. Who hold these things forth. Concerning the new birth.
[35:28] Barrel not. That I say to you. Ye must. Be born again. Therefore. There is a necessity.
[35:40] Of that new birth. To be brought forth again. Of the spirit. In and through the trevor. Of a dear redeemer. God is love.
[35:52] In that he prevailed. In birth. To bring forth his children. And that. How they are growed forth.
[36:03] Born again of the spirit. And are partakers of divine life. And. That life. Which shall never die.
[36:15] And. You know. How Christ said to dear. Dear Martha. Now concerning this.
[36:27] How. Though he were there. Yet shall he live. And he that liveth. Shall never die. And she said.
[36:38] Believe us. How this. Oh. What a mercy. It is. There is no death. A true. A child of God. That.
[36:50] There is. In Christ. A life. And they are possessors of it. That cannot die. As a death I know.
[37:02] But. That. We believe. That. A child of God. Through the love of Christ. Christ. Shall.
[37:13] Inherit. Eternity. I wanted to come into that later. And we have known.
[37:28] And believed. The love that God has to us. God is love. And he that dwelleth in love. Dwelleth in God. Well. Well.
[37:39] There is a dwelling in love. Say. Well. I don't seem to be dwelling in it. Well. Let's try and put this right. As far as we enable.
[37:54] There will be a dwelling in it. While it is made known. For a season. In thy soul.
[38:04] You know. It may be only a momentary. Dwelling in this love. As we come. Into the experience of it.
[38:17] I believe it's when. The Holy Spirit comes. And reveals. Christ to the soul. So I've been trying to set forth.
[38:27] Very believally. That he dwelleth. In love. Now when.
[38:37] And dwelleth in God. When. Christ comes. And makes himself. Many best unto them. As their redeemer. And as their saviour.
[38:50] And advocate upon. God. Oh what a dwelling place this is. To dwell in love. I wish I would dwell there.
[39:01] God. When he comes. With a little touch. And manifestation. Of that love in our souls. What a dwelling place it is. Isn't it? Dwelling in love. To be able to dwell.
[39:13] In that love. For. A moment. Let alone. A few minutes. I hope we've felt a little of it. Now and again.
[39:23] You know. When he. When he comes. Spontaneously. Out of the soul. Momentary. And as a self.
[39:33] As a spirit. Here we are aware. The old man. Has to come down. And then. The new man. Is up the most. He brings it down.
[39:44] One. He sets it up. Another. Another. You know. When he comes. If we find. That we dwell in his love. Oh yes. He brings it down. What?
[39:55] And he sets it up. Another. He brings it down. The old man. And he set it up. The new man. And there. That new man.
[40:07] Dwelled in his love. And he dwelled there. For that season. And God had appointed. We believe that the psalmist.
[40:18] Knew. Something of the dwelling. In that love. From time to time. Especially. In the 23rd Psalm. When he was able to say. The Lord is my shepherd.
[40:30] I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down. In green pastures. He needed me to decide. The still waters. There he was dwelling. In the love of God.
[40:43] So they. Are dwelling. In that love. And there is a dwelling. In that love. Sometimes. I believe.
[40:54] When we come into his earthly courts. When the world is shut out. When Christ comes for a few moments into the midst. As he did with his dear disciples.
[41:07] The door is being shut. The invisible God. With us. And yet faith believes it. And lays hold on us. And we are carried away from earth.
[41:19] And earth beings. And all our trials. And difficulties. And sorrows. Perplexities. But we mention everything else. And to hear. That who has.
[41:30] That dwelleth in the heavens above. Who hath. Gone before us. And is the God of love. And he that dwelleth in love.
[41:45] Dwelleth in God. So there is a dwelling in his love. And I believe. That too. In our trials and afflictions.
[41:56] Are when God hath come. And dwelt with us. Suppose from Luke Bank of Paul.
[42:07] The dark dispensations. And many trials. Where he's come. And dwelt with us. Though we were blind. I say though we were blind.
[42:21] Dwelt with us. In the bitterest trials. You know. It was with the children of Israel. God.
[42:32] Was with them. In all their troubles. And trials. Though he chastised them. Yes. Always expected. The chastisement.
[42:43] Of God. But it's love. God is love. And. He does not afflict willingly. Nor grieve the children of man. And whatever he does.
[42:55] He does in love. He does indeed. Although some of us concede love. Upon us. In his chastening rod. We have brought us.
[43:06] Back. By. A way. That we knew not. I brought us back. Some of us. With broken bones. And many bruises. And many bruises.
[43:18] And many a cry. Under him. And yet. And yet. We have had to prove. He was in love. When he.
[43:29] When he comes. To us. And speaks. As to our souls. Then. We dwell in that love.
[43:39] That has been. In our. Unknown in our trials. And difficulties. Especially. When he has come. And said. Who are these?
[43:51] These are they. Which have come about. With great tribulation. And have washed their robes white. In the blood of the Lamb. This is love. The love of God.
[44:02] To the violent. And blackest of sinners. And yet. Dressed in white robes. Is never death. Collect from all filthy nuts. And all thin.
[44:13] Standing spotlights. Out before the throne. Well. There is. This dwelling then. In. In that love.
[44:25] And. As I was going to say just now. In these earthly courts. Sometimes. But a few moments. There will be. For one or another. According to the appointment.
[44:37] Of the father. Towards them. A dwelling in that love. There will be. You see. Sometimes. There is a portion for six. And also.
[44:47] For seven. There are times. In God's house. When. He directs the word. To some poor sinner. And I'll tell you who they are. They are.
[44:58] They have come. Thirsty. Hungry. Longing. Crying. Panting. Thirsty. Well. Am I ready to give up.
[45:10] And feeling. Ready to faint. Various. Cases. Come before him. And. He will in times. Convey his word.
[45:21] To one here. And another there. And they'll be able to say. That they have had a visit. From the Lord. In his house.
[45:31] They dwell in his life. And he's in love to warn them. If he comes. And. Thus speaks to them. In his earthly voice. When he speaks a word of comfort.
[45:44] And peace. To the troubled branch. When he says. Be still. And know that I am God. I will fight for you.
[45:56] And you shall hold your peace. Yes. Hold your peace. Ah. Hold your peace. We're plying against him. Hold your peace. From.
[46:07] Anything that might be. Against God. But. There will be. Still. A crying out. Under him. That he will.
[46:18] Continue. To fulfill. That promise to you. That he will fight for you. In all your difficulties. Or sorrows.
[46:29] And distresses. That he will make a way for you. Still through this wilderness. Here below. And that he will appear unto you. From time to time.
[46:41] Here it is. Our love made perfect. And so it is. Made perfect. In Christ. Well. There is a mercy to know something.
[46:53] I feel. In any humble measure. There is love. In our hearts. By the operation. Of the spirit. And desire to know more of it.
[47:04] More and more. You know. I'm sure that he's so. On earth. If we love. If we love a person. Or love. Those that are near and dear to us.
[47:17] We shall desire an increase of that love. And there will be. As years go on. Even naturally. Be an increase of that love. There will indeed.
[47:28] And it will be so. I believe to the end. Even naturally. But. This love of Christ. Knows no end. Our love.
[47:39] One to another. Known end. One day. But this love. Has no end. It is an unending love. A love that. Shall be.
[47:49] Knulled. Throughout the countless ages of eternity. Well my friends. I feel as I've only touched. Just on the fringe of these things. I wish I could enter into it more.
[48:00] But you know. What God gives we gather. Nothing more. Nothing less. What we have still. I do desire that it may be some help.
[48:12] Some comfort. Some poor troubled grass. And if it is. May God have all the praise. For our weak. May be a place before him.
[48:24] And desire. To do nothing else. But to praise his holy name. For all his goodness. Amen.
