[0:00] Let us commence our afternoon service with hymn number 108, the tune is Kensington 166.

[0:15] Jehovah is my righteousness, in him alone I'll boast. My tongue his mercy shall confess who seeks and saves the lost.

[0:30] When sunk in fears with anguished press, bow down with mighty woe, my weary soul in him finds rest, from him my comforts flow.

[1:00] hymn 108. hymn 108. hymn 107. hymn 107. hymn 107.

[1:11] hymn 107. hymn 107.

[1:23] What is good? I bring it in, I bring him, I bring him all right.

[1:41] For him, Thank you. Amen. Amen.

[2:48] Amen. Amen.

[3:48] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[4:00] Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

[4:12] Amen. We read this afternoon from the prophecy of Isaiah. Chapter 54. The 54th chapter of the prophet Isaiah.

[4:26] Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear. Break forth into singing and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child.

[4:38] For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife saith the Lord. Enlarge the place in the thy tents.

[4:49] And let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations. Spare not. Lengthen thy cords and strengthen thy stakes.

[5:01] For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left. And thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles. And make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

[5:15] Fear not. For thou shalt not be ashamed. Neither be thou confounded. For thou shalt not be put to shame. For thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth.

[5:29] And shalt not remember the reproach. Of thy widowhood any more. For thy maker is thine husband. The Lord of hosts is his name.

[5:41] And thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. The God of the whole earth, shalt he be called. For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit.

[5:57] And a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, set thy guard. For a small moment have I forsaken thee. But with great mercies will I gather thee.

[6:10] In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment. But with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.

[6:24] This is as the waters of Noah unto me. For as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth.

[6:35] So have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed. But my kindness shall not depart from thee.

[6:49] Neither shall the covenant of thy peace be removed, saith the Lord, that hath mercy on thee. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted.

[7:03] Behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And thou make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

[7:21] And all thy children shall be taught with the Lord. And great shall be the peace of thy children. And righteousness shalt thou be established.

[7:33] Thou shalt be far from oppression. For thou shalt not fear, and from terror. For it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me.

[7:49] Whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and bringeth forth an instrument of his work, and createth a waster to destroy.

[8:14] No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that riseth against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.

[8:33] This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and that thy righteousness is of thee, saith the Lord.

[8:46] May the Lord bless the word, and in mercy teach us to pray. Amen. O Lord, do hear our poor petitions, and condescend to show us those tokens of good.

[9:05] We thank thee for the exceeding great and precious promises. We want to lay hold of them by faith. For thee to apply them with power, to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd speaking to our souls.

[9:22] Inditing Lord, firstly real prayer, and send us answers to prayer to our poor, feeble souls. For we might truly, Lord, have many fears, and yet, Lord, that thou will delay those fears, and say that thou art our God, our Saviour, and our Redeemer.

[9:47] That we might draw water, living waters from the wells of salvation. Only thou can draw it, Lord. Only thou can give it. And we do desire, Lord, to know how the faith stands with their soul.

[10:02] We drift along through this wilderness world. We have, Lord, enemies of the truth round about us. Oh, what a perishing world it is.

[10:14] But, Lord, thou hast said, who shall believe in thee, shall not have everything, and shall not have everything but the goodness of the Lord in his loving kindness to those that he has chosen before the worlds have made.

[10:34] We do need, Lord, not a natural persuasion, but a spiritual persuasion. For thou hast bought us with a price, thou hast eternally loved us.

[10:46] And, Lord, these are the desires of seeking souls. And we're never too young or too old to see thy face, Lord, what a mercy. For the door of mercy stands open all day to the poor and needy not by the way.

[11:02] We sometimes wonder, Lord, are we needy enough? Are we poor enough? Are we hungry enough? Are we thirsty enough for the righteousness of Christ?

[11:14] O Lord, unfold to us the great mysteries of the Gospel. That it might bear our group in spirit's heart. Faithful and unchanging God lay the foundation of our hopes in oaths, in promises and blood.

[11:29] We groan being burdened, Lord. Lord, we do pray, Lord, for the help of thy spirit to help us to continue, Lord, in this own work of the ministry.

[11:42] And not only that, the solemn work of the Lord of coming to worship, mourning over our sins and after thee. Because no man can pardon them, Lord.

[11:54] Only the man, Christ Jesus, who has promised that thy people will not labour in vain at the throne of grace.

[12:05] And may we not be labour in vain, Lord, as we may have many stones of stumbling and rot to the fence in this sin-stained world. But keep us from evil, Lord.

[12:18] Don't leave us to fall under the temptation of Satan. Always every corner of the way, Lord. Every corner of the way, every crooked thing, Lord, that he's made crooked.

[12:32] And put it in vain for a season. But, Lord, thou shalt laugh, Lord, in him. And laugh, Lord, at his terrible inventions here below.

[12:50] And man has sought out many inventions. But, Lord, they don't want to invent the gospel. They want to know it. A real gospel, the true word of God, made manifest to us in our souls seeking.

[13:04] And do be with us, Lord, to watch over us each in our goings out and comings in, in this evil world. For evil men who seduce us wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

[13:17] O have compassion, Lord, upon my people. Help us to press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. What a privilege, Lord, if we do, and are favoured, to hear thy voice and walk according to thy commandments.

[13:37] And so we do look for those blessings, Lord, to enrich our souls through the gospel. We wish in all our daily lives those that bear the burden of the heat of the day, those that bear the burden, Lord, in their youth, with all that they have to learn in their schools or in colleges.

[13:59] But, O Lord, may it prove to be like that thy will for them to be brought through these things. O Lord, do guide and direct them. When they wonder which way to take, do come and appear to them and for them, and show them thy way, even in this fredenable world.

[14:20] To be true, Lord, made pillars in Zion. To be made, Lord, conscious that they are the way, the truth and the life in first things.

[14:32] And to be blessed, Lord, with those divine instructions and teachings in the way that thou have them to go. To do that that is pleasing and acceptable in thy sight, in their warmth and their conduct.

[14:45] Whatever age or case we may have, Lord, to look to thee. So, Lord, do remember Zion, this low estate. Do have mercy upon our guilty land and nation.

[14:58] Governments that seem to have no thought of God or Christ. Oh, Lord, have mercy upon the country. And deserve and cause our Protestant heritage and their religious liberties.

[15:10] Be with our afflicted ones, Lord. And be out of man decay. Burdens come upon us, Lord, in affliction. Lord, we do pray, Lord, that they'll be with my people.

[15:22] And be favoured to know that these things are not in anger but in my dear covenant. We do, Lord, we thank you, Lord, that the friend Elaine has been able to go to the morning service today.

[15:39] We do commit unto thy care and keeping. And those that care for our son and daughter at home, we do pray, give them wisdom and guidance. And do be with her to spare to us, Lord.

[15:50] And spare other elderly ones too, Lord, up there. And also those that appear with us here, Lord. And bring back, Lord, we do pray, those that have turned their backs upon the truth.

[16:04] Bring them in the conscious that they might begin to be in want, Lord, for a knowledge of the truth or for the safety of Christ. And we want to feel his presence.

[16:15] And we want to follow him. And we want, Lord, to be kept from denying him. As we're so prone to wander from the God that we hope he loves.

[16:27] And we say, here's my heart, Lord, take and seal it. Seal it from my courts above. May we even bear that witness and sealing of the Spirit ourselves, even this day, Lord.

[16:39] And do be with those that are unable to come for their responsibilities, Lord, motherhood. And we do pray, Lord, that we'll remember those, Lord, that are growing up fast.

[16:52] And yet, Lord, seem to want to deny even their appearance in thy courts. Although these are a great matter, Lord, to thy people, a great concern.

[17:05] But hear our prayers, Lord, wrestling weak prayers that sometimes feel too weak to pray, too destitute to pray. But thou said all regard the prayer of the destitute, here's our hope, Lord.

[17:18] Lord, do be with each in our individual paths and keep our minds stayed upon God. To have a seat to serve thee with reverence and godly fear as true believers in Christ.

[17:31] And what thou have whatsoever had vined to do, to do it as unto the Lord. So do be with us and our friends, Lord, and do be thy guide and thy guide to do back of thee.

[17:44] And know, Lord, what wait before. Our hope is in thee to come again, Lord. Open our mad wine and fill it, and stop our deaf ears. And open them that they might hear, and that thy true light might enter into our very soul.

[18:01] To fulfil those desires of their seeking souls that were not left to be sent empty away. So do hear us and bless those on the relay.

[18:12] Those, Lord, that ride and those, Lord, that in Adelaide and their friend, the Lord in Geelong. Oh, Lord, be mindful of thy people.

[18:23] And bless, Lord, their own dear one, and uphold and support and sustain her in the pathway of tribulation. And know, Lord, do give us thankful hearts too for those daily benefits that thou dost load us with benefits that were unworthy to receive.

[18:42] Take not thy spirit from us, Lord, and do appear. Forgive our sin now as we ask it for Christ's sake alone. Amen. Let us further sing hymn 285, the tune is Winchester New 439.

[19:08] O, for a heart to seek my God, encouraged by his gracious word to view my Saviour all complete, and lie submissive at his feet.

[19:21] To thee, almighty God, to thee, my rob and refuge, would I flee. Now tides of sorrow rolling high appear to mingle earth and sky.

[19:34] OK, high kingdom high awake to mingle earth and blind oy.

[19:51] 825. Emmanuel World Creation to hear our Savior's glory and to rejoice.

[20:05] Thank you.

[20:35] Thank you.

[21:05] Thank you. Thank you.

[22:05] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

[23:07] Thank you. Thank you.

[23:39] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

[24:15] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

[24:27] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

[24:39] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

[24:51] Thank you. a refreshing instrument having teeth. Thou shalt thrash the mountains and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as char. What a mercy to have such language before us. We feel so in-equipped to speak much of it about dependence upon the help of the Lord.

[25:21] We do need The Lord in these dark days to hear the prayer and the language of Mr. Horn that we've been singing of.

[25:33] To have those answers that we are feeling to be in great need of. We know that He says, when the Son of Man cometh shall he find faith on the earth. Well, we believe there will be the faith that was elect.

[25:53] How many there will be the Lord alone knows. And He doesn't divulge to us how many there will be, that shall be a remnant. A remnant compared the goody multitudes of the billions of billions in the earth.

[26:11] But all to be favoured, to be numbered, months to month. With them numbered would I be, now and through eternity. Though you and I have many doubts and many fears in the pathway, so many things to try us, the enemy of our souls seeking to destroy, what little hope at times we might have, because we prove often things, these mountains, that all these things are against us.

[26:43] Only He can remove mountains. Only He can make the crooked things straight and the rough place plain before us. And although we despair sometimes of our poverty, but through mercy, through mercy there is this exercise of soul.

[27:07] To know Him. You see we speak about He hears the prayers of the destitute. And so, it is our desire to know Him, the power of His resurrection, by nature, born in sin, shaken in iniquity, conceived in sin.

[27:27] We're vile and full of sin. And not many want to know it, but the Lord's chosen people. They are convinced of their sins. And they're drawn by the courts of a man, by His Spirit.

[27:43] To look to Jesus. The loving kindness of the Lord, that we have to acknowledge and have acknowledged over life's journey. But still we get doubts and fears that arise.

[27:57] But Jesus Himself drew near. Those Emmaus, those disciples, a very clear state of mind that they were in.

[28:11] They hoped that in Him was their hope of salvation. And all their hopes seemed to be dwindled and gone to nothing until. Jesus Himself, Jesus Himself, who always near, walk with them, talk with them, talk with them by the way.

[28:31] And He'll talk to you and me through His word. And it's an attraction to your soul, which the calm of mind is not attracted to the Scriptures.

[28:44] No. Until the coming of the Lord. Until He is formed in your hearts. And you confess your sins.

[28:57] And it's, O Christ, all I want, for all and all I find in Thee. He meets our cases. He knows all our cases.

[29:10] He knows all our fears. And therefore, these exceedingly great fear-nots in His word, are for the comfort and hope of His dear children, that He has caused them to begin to be in mind.

[29:28] And perhaps it is poverty in our lives. Poor and needy parents. And they have known what it is to pray.

[29:42] Because the Lord has led them to the throne of grace by His Spirit. Most of you need His helping hand. This friend is always near, would have the nurse at His commandment.

[29:55] He waits to answer prayer. It's not, it's not coming, dear friends, at His call, your call to Him. It is at appointed time that He will deliver you from your fear of man.

[30:11] The fear of man that brings a snare. Well, we can fear man. And it brings a snare. Especially when you thought you were becoming an exercise in your mind about this knowledge of the truth.

[30:28] But He says, you should know the truth. And the truth should make you free. We're condemned by our sins, born and shaven and conceived in. There's no escape from being shown you're a sinner by birth, by conception, born sin.

[30:51] Yeah, dear friends, shaped in iniquity. What wretched souls we are in the pure and holy eyes of God that Jesus has appointed. We set time to favour you be, to be given a need of Him.

[31:10] And you're fearful. You're fearful. You're fearful to approach unto the holy majesty of heaven. And you're only approachable is He approachable through the merits of Jesus.

[31:27] God sent His dear Son to awaken you. And it's revealed to you by the Spirit of truth. And you bless God for an open Bible as you journey on in life's wilderness.

[31:42] And you realise His mercies that are countless as they stand upon the seashore. Infinite wisdom given to God.

[31:55] And He, and He humbles you and me to seek grace, to have that new heart and made tender in His fear. And this is not the fear of man that brings us here.

[32:07] this is the fear of God. And that's a different fear. It's not a slavish fear. But the fear of God is an unctuous, unctuous lie to all that's right and a bar to all that's wrong.

[32:24] And like Nehemiah of old, so did not I for the fear of the Lord. So this, this, this acknowledgement of God, His sovereign right to do according to His will amongst the armours of heaven.

[32:39] And none can stay His hand or say, what doest thou? What doest thou? In the world, there are wars and rumours of wars and will be to the end of time.

[32:52] But this is the peace of God to a poor sinner who feels to be under the solemn work of Satan in their souls.

[33:08] Where is the blessingness that once I knew when first I saw the Lord. the Lord. And this is how the devil brings out these words of Scripture into your soul.

[33:23] The Lord seems to be silent to you amidst the sorrows of the might and you cannot find Him. But He says, I am a hiding place and refuge for sinners in the glorious truths of this Gospel.

[33:41] And you look unto Him. He says, Fear thou not. And you pray, Lord, if thou does apply the promise fear thou not for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am my God.

[33:57] Jesus Christ, your Father's Son, bid you and thee, undismayed, go on. The things that, the little things that become great mountains to us in our lives and you know what that is at times.

[34:12] And yet through mercy, the Lord is leading you and guiding you. And you see, He will deliver you and me for those who are incensed against you.

[34:27] Incensed against you because of your religion. Because you believe in the Lord and He's implanted that faith in your soul to believe. He says, Whoso believeth in Him shall not perish.

[34:42] So it stands to reason, stands to the truth. Whoso believeth not shall perish in their sins. and in the outer darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth in hell.

[34:58] What a terrible place, dear friends, for your soul and mine to go. You see, we read that if we go into hell, He is there.

[35:11] He's not there, dear friends, but He sees there, and He sees all those that have perished in their sins. And it's all His divine appointment. These things are a great mystery.

[35:25] There's so many in religion today, you've only got to pray. He's full of love. Jesus is full of love. And, you know, there's so many presume that He is love to them.

[35:41] We need evidence, isn't that? Repentance. Repentance for us, dear friends, God is sorrowful sin. And repentance, you know. We're brought to a change of heart.

[35:55] Renewing in your will. And returning your feet as answered. You begin to value the gospel. You begin to value that where there is life, there is hope.

[36:08] And you've been spared. You see, there are those that, and it's a day terrible, when so many dear friends seem to drift along and no concern about the welfare of their souls.

[36:24] God of mercy if you and I have given a desire to seek Him, whom you trust your soul, His desires to know, and further than that, not only know Him, but also love the Lord Jesus Christ.

[36:43] You see, He loves you. If He's eternally loved you, the time of love will come, when thou shalt clearly see, not only that He shed His blood, but He shall save me.

[36:59] The sacrifice, the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus, laid down His life for His friends, and you are my friends, if you do whatsoever I reveal to you, whatsoever I told you, whatsoever I instruct you, to walk in my fear.

[37:17] And it's all the work of the Spirit from first to last, salvation, it's all of His free and sovereign grace, for by grace He is saved through faith, and not only yourselves, as the gifts of God, not of works, and He says, God, you don't exalt yourself, you exalt Christ, you lift up your hearts with your hands to God, and say, God be merciful, God be mindful of me, Lord, I come with weeping and supplication, because you're burned for your sins, and some sins, you know, will greatly impress upon you, and me, that what we're in need of someone, to deliver our soul from the pit, that He is a ransom, He's paid the price, the countless millions, a number that no man can number, a multitude that no man can number, of all nations and kindreds and tongues,

[38:24] God's sovereignty, God's sovereignty, saving whom He will, and so though you may, you fear to presume, but He says, fear not, fear not, because all power is given unto Him in heaven and in earth, and it's that power that He gives to the faith, nothing, with clay in the potter's hand, He makes one love to honour and one love to dishonour, such is the sovereignty of God, but, He says, I will help thee, help laid upon one that is mighty to save, save unto the uttermost all those that come to God by Him, what a way of escape, dear friends, and the wrath to come, pour not on thyself too long, lest it sink thee lower, look to Jesus kind and strong, mercy joined with power, nothing to bring but everything to receive, the token of His love to your soul,

[39:32] I will help thee, said the Lord, the Lord thy Redeemer, He's redeemed you from the curse of the broken rule, without Him we can do nothing, but bless the Lord, He's the Holy One of Israel, my people.

[39:51] We've read this afternoon, didn't we? Not only that, but also of the Gentile race, that, He says, O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, lay thy stones filled with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

[40:11] Yes, and He goes on to say, and all thy children shall be taught of the Lord. This is the chosen people of God, and He's a sovereign.

[40:22] Some may have not fought upon seeking the Lord, but until that set time comes, and the promises of Christ.

[40:36] And they say, He's, and so He says, incline your ear and come unto me here, and your soul shall live, and I make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

[40:49] I have given him a witness, a witness to the people, a leader and a commander. And he said, Thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not. Such is God's goodness.

[41:02] And so, He tells us a little then, about the Gentile race, for thou shalt break forth on the right hand, on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

[41:18] He said, Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed either, be thou confounded. So you see, though it may seem a dark some part, the Lord will lead you here, lighten your darkness.

[41:34] He blesses you and me, with that calmness. Calmness amid tempestuous motion, knowing that the Lord is nigh. You know what it is to have a broken heart, and a contrite spirit.

[41:50] The spirit of the Lord anoints you. And this anointing, once given, will not be forsaken. He will fulfill, the desires of the righteous.

[42:04] Because those desires, He implants in your soul. You want the, you want the righteousness of Christ, to be imputed to you. You suffered, bled and died, for the purpose, of redeeming you and me, from the curse of the broken heart.

[42:21] What a mercy. If the Lord has given you that faith, to hear His voice. This is the Lord's doing. It is marvelous in their eyes. And so He says, Fear not thou worm, Jacob.

[42:36] We get to a very low ebb of times in our religion, wonder where the sin is going to end. But what the Lord has bestowed upon you and His people, He will surely cause you and me to be fruitful and multiply, with these tokens of His love.

[42:54] And we may be able to recall down to the ages that we have been brought back, and being taught to put our trust in Him at all times, you people, and pour out your heart.

[43:09] something that is contrary to nature's desires. But those desires He's implanted with a new birth into your heart, soul and mind.

[43:20] You hunger and thirst. And you plead with Him, and you give Him no rest until He establishes Him and be appraised in the earth. Such is the love of Christ.

[43:33] You all know these things. The trial of your faith. And through mercy, that faith faileth not. Because Jesus has authorised it.

[43:45] He has taught you to pray. He has taught you to bring your hard things to Him. And also to return thanks for the things that He has answered you and me.

[43:58] With a great hope that you shall be more than a conqueror through Him, that has loved you and washed you from your sins in His blood. And whatsoever is not fight is sin.

[44:09] But what a mercy to have the seed of the incorruptible world of life sown your soul. That you have realised that there's something real in true religion.

[44:23] Something known. Something found. And so you produce your cause and your case before the Lord. And this is a great mercy.

[44:36] And this is a great mercy. Produce your cause, saith the Lord. Bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. He is the King. He is King in Israel.

[44:47] He has a kingdom, an everlasting kingdom. A kingdom of immense delight where pure enjoyment reigns. What a place it must be. And what it is for your desire of mine.

[45:02] To be seeking Him. To wait upon Him to renew your strength. And He gives power. You see, the humble, He says, shall hear and be glad.

[45:14] You've got to be humbled in the dust of self-abasement. If so, be there might be nothing to glory in. But you praise the Lord and bless Him that He has touched your heart.

[45:29] He's given you a new heart. A heart made very tender. The looks of the Lord. Lord, show me a token, Lord, for good. A token of my special love.

[45:40] Tell me that I am born of God. And that my treasure is above. Well, Jesus will uphold you. Because He's the right hand of God's righteousness.

[45:52] He has fulfilled the righteousness in your spirits and mine. Because He leads you to Calvary. And behold, that seal of matchless grace.

[46:06] Jesus in the sinner's place. Jesus in your sinful place. My sinful place. Jesus then. Hung on that accursed tree. And raised again from the dead.

[46:20] And ascended on high. Led the captivity of your sins. Because you feel condemned under the broken law. And the broken law. But there is therefore now no condemnation.

[46:33] Then who are in Christ Jesus. Who walk not after the flesh. But after the spirit. Yes, you all know what it is. You'll cry unto the Most High God.

[46:45] Deliver me from my fears, Lord. Hold my right hand. Saying unto me, fear not. I will help thee. There's no help, dear friends, but like the God of Jacob.

[46:58] Happy is he who is of the God of Jacob for his help. Whose hope is that the Lord is God. Oh, what a mercy to trust in the Lord at all times. You people.

[47:10] For all of us. We need to pour out our souls before God. Deliver us north from false images. From graven images. And lift up the light of my cateners upon the time that I need.

[47:27] Let my light shine into my soul. Apply the word with power. We speak these things. We desire the application. The entrance of his light.

[47:39] The entrance of his word. That giveth light. To lighten our darkness. You see, we travel much by night.

[47:51] We're very much in the earth earthy. But to be spiritually minded. A few moments here. A passing. Revelation of Christ. You look to him.

[48:04] And you plead with him. Lord, keep alive this desire in myself. That I might know the truth and more of it. He says, then you shall know it.

[48:17] And you shall know him. That I may know him. The power of his resurrection. The fellowship of his sufferings. Me may conform all. Unto his death.

[48:30] You see, you'll be wanted. Be exercised about the sufferings of Christ. You may feel an absent God. You mourn over an absent God.

[48:43] You might have been hunting for days, months, or even years for a confirmation. That he's eternally loved you. Well, as we say sometimes, we tarry off.

[48:57] Till we're ready. Till faith. He tarries off. Till evening late. Blessed mercy comes, won't it? Even in the even time of their days.

[49:12] It shall be light. And as we draw near journey's end. To realize this friend waits to be gracious. Terry's often meditate.

[49:25] Comes the evening late. So we bless the Lord, don't we? That he gives you this new sharp threshing instrument. Threshing instrument. This rest repair. Determined to know nothing among men.

[49:39] But Jesus Christ. And him crucified. And he's formed in your heart. The hope of glory. Hopes, dear friends.

[49:52] Tribulation worketh these hopes. Tribulation worketh patience. In need of patience. In need of patience. After done the will of God. You might receive the promise. The promises.

[50:05] That we hope to sing of at the end of the service. Promises. That are all recorded in his word. And you have to say a free grace.

[50:17] Why not for me? Promises. That they give you this new. A sharp threshing instrument. Than having tea.

[50:31] Or you see. The word. Of God applied to your soul. And the words dear friends. Are meat and in drink to your soul. He feeds you.

[50:44] With the blessed pure. Truth of the word. In your soul. You should know the truth. And you'll be able to say.

[50:56] That promise is mine. Because he's applied it. Gives you life. And it humbles you to think. Why me? Why such a wretch for me?

[51:09] Must lie in hell. We're not salvation free. Without money. He says. He says. Oh one. Oh everyone that thirsteth. Come into the waters.

[51:22] And buy without money. Without price. Wherefore does she spend money. For that adult. Oh. You can't buy the truth. Only. As the Lord pours upon you.

[51:35] A spirit of grace. And of supplication. He reveals himself. You see him. As hanging on the accursed tree. For sinners. Such as you and me. What a mercy. To have a little interest.

[51:48] In these precious promises. And so. If he's called you by his grace. There'll be evidences in your soul. That you're born of God.

[52:00] And that your treasure's above. For where your treasure is. There will hurt hardly. Man looking upon treasures. Of there. Wants to get more and more. We've been speaking in the week.

[52:11] About the riches to those in the country. But what will their riches do. When they come to die? We want pure riches. We want treasure.

[52:22] Dear friends. Treasures in the sky. In the sky. Eternal. Wisdom. You know.

[52:33] Eternal wisdom. Will bring you and me. To consider. Those exceeding great. And precious promises. That will never be removed from you. Treasure in your earth.

[52:44] And vessel. The eerie. The power. May be of God. And not of us. What a mercy. Yes. Many fears. Fear to pursue. But fear thou not. For I am with thee.

[52:56] Be not dismayed. For I am. Thy God. I am. Thy God. I will strengthen thee. This is not necessarily strengthen the body.

[53:08] This is strength of faith. You see. And the weakest of him. Are as dear as the strong. The weakest prayer. And it will be resting.

[53:20] To remove these mountains. Of those fears. And unbelief. That my. Children. Shall know the joyful sound. And they go on. They will rejoice.

[53:32] As a time of love. Time of blessing. Rich blessing. I will help thee. And when God says he will help thee. He will help thee. And they will never leave thee.

[53:44] Nor forsake thee. Oh what a mercy to have. The Lord Jesus Christ. On your side. If God before you. Who could be against you.

[53:56] Even though you might have dashed. Hopes and disappointments. In the way. He'll make a way for you. He'll supply your need. He'll undertake for you.

[54:08] You'll approach. You'll know what it is. To remove these mountains. These rough places. Playing darkness. Light before you. Lamb the Donahem.

[54:20] I said this morning. And I say it again. Lamb the Donahem. I will not. Lay it. Despise me. Shall be like little steam. Don't you pity the poor people. They don't.

[54:31] They don't. Esteem him highly. But you'll esteem him highly. And bless him. For his gospel. It's the good news. And oh how many.

[54:43] Turn their backs upon him. How many dear friends. That have denied him. And those that want to destroy. The bible. But it's a lamp to your feet.

[54:54] And a light to your palm. If you and I use it prayerfully. You see the prayer. Of a righteous man.

[55:07] Who will be determined. To know nothing among men. Save Jesus Christ. And him crucified. And he wants to feel Jesus. Formed in his heart. The hope of glory.

[55:19] You never leave him. Not for sake. You're once in him. And then brother. That's the eternal covenant stands. And you bless him. For these promises. And. And. Oh you see.

[55:32] He said. Make the hills as char. Oh what is that. To thee. And to me. He says.

[55:43] Follow thou me. Look to Jesus. Look to Jesus. Kind and strong. Mercy. John of power. Because I. I will make thee. A new sharp. Fresh. It's what the Lord.

[55:55] Puts in your hand. To pray for. The effectual. Firm and proud. Righteous man. Availeth much. Tie me a suit. Soot.

[56:06] Tie me a set. To heal up your woes. A season most fit. His love to disclose. Oh what a saviour. And oh how we. Need him to. Open our blind eyes.

[56:18] Unstop our deaf ears. To the truth. As it is in Jesus. And as we search. The scriptures. The light eyes. To light upon. Some portion.

[56:29] Of his word. That will truly. Comfort you. With a little hope. That is. Five all your sins. All your fears. He has the fear not.

[56:40] And takes it. At that set time. To be applied. And to you. And me. To go on your way. Rejoicing. Because you. Believe. He is able to do.

[56:51] Far more exceeding above. For you and me. Are we able to. Ask. Or even think. Lord. Do grant. That they will say to me.

[57:02] That my thoughts. Are not your thoughts. Neither my ways. Except the Lord. Do. Because. His thoughts. The Ephesians. Are to give.

[57:13] His saints. The gift. Of eternal life. And they shall never perish. Because he has. Eternity. Loved them. And his promises. Will back up. What we have tried.

[57:25] To say today. You men of Israel. Were. Jacob. So insignificant. Nothing to bring. Until the Lord. Implants.

[57:36] Your soul. And mine. Some precious promises. And you bless him. For his mercies. That he knew. Every morning. And you go on your way. Believing. And praising him.

[57:47] From whom. All these blessings. Bow. There is anything. Too hard. For the Lord. Nothing. In your hand. To bring. But everything. To receive.

[57:58] Of the love. Of God. Because. You have not chosen me. I have chosen you. And ordained you. To go forth. And bring forth. Real fruits. And to go. In the strength.

[58:09] Of the Lord. As we said before. And make mention. Of his righteousness. And his only. May the Lord. In mercy. Bless. A few remarks. May the trust.

[58:20] Have been accepted. In heaven. May your souls. Be nourished. And fed. With these crumbs. And sips. From the wells. Of salvation.

[58:31] May you. Take us. Each home. In peace. And safety. To meditate. Upon the sweetness. Of the glorious. Truth. The God. And make it known.

[58:42] In reality. To our souls. To make us. Wise. And to salvation. Through faith. In him. And trust in him. At all times. You people.

[58:53] Pour out your heart. Before him. Who is your refuge. And your strength. And very present. Help in trouble. Amen. Amen. Thank you.
