[0:00] Let us commence our worship this morning with hymn number 634, the tune is old, 148, number 552.

[5:03] Just a man. So God willing, we hope to have a church meeting here on Wednesday evening as near to 6 o'clock as possible. Let us read this morning from the Word of God, the Gospel of Fort-a-Loup, chapter 6, reading from verse 1, Dan 2, 26.

[5:29] Gospel of Fort-a-Loup, chapter 6. And it came to pass on the second Sabbath, after the first, that he went through the cornfields and his disciples plucked the ears of corn and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

[5:50] And so the Pharisee said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath days? And Jesus answering then said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did when himself was a hunger, and they which were with him, how he went to the house of God, and did take and eat the showbread, and gave also to them that were with him, which it is not lawful to eat, but for the priests alone.

[6:28] And he said unto them that the Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath. And he came to pass also on another Sabbath, where he entered into the synagogue and talked.

[6:42] And there was a man whose right hand was withered. And the scribes and the Pharisees watched him, that he would yield on the Sabbath day, that they might find an accusation against him.

[7:00] But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he rose and stood forth.

[7:14] Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing, is it lawful on the Sabbath days to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?

[7:28] And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so, and his hand was restored, and they were filled with madness, and commanded one with another what they might do to Jesus.

[7:50] And he turned to pass in those days, and that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

[8:59] And they that were vexed with unclean spirits, and they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch him, for there went virtue over him, and healed them all.

[9:13] And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are ye, that hunger now, for ye shall be filled.

[9:26] Blessed are ye, that weep now, for ye shall laugh. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you, from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the son of man's sake.

[9:48] Rejoice, ye in that day, and leave for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for in like matter, did the fathers, under the prophets.

[10:02] But woe unto you, that are rich, for ye have received, your consolation. Woe unto you, that are full, for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you, that laugh now, for ye shall mourn, and weep.

[10:17] Woe unto you, that all men, shall speak well of you, for so did their fathers, to the false prophets. Here, we will leave the reading.

[10:27] May the Lord bless his word thus far, and help us now in prayer. O gracious God, we venture, to approach unto thee, all thy holiness, sovereignty, and majesty, and ask, who you accomplish then, to meet with a few poor sinners here, who ride those in the home, Lord, as they will see glory, of worship, spirit of grace, and of suffocation.

[11:03] And as we've been singing, O thou hast been not, not with, as with God, yet, knowing Lord, our dance, and our altar, to gird up the lines, of our mind, that supply of gifts, spirit, to fill the solemnity, of the eye of the Lord, upon us.

[11:27] Unworthy, dwelling, unworthy, Lord, sinners, to be favored, to be in the spirit, of the Lord's day. And to whom else, can we go, though has the word, be done, and like it is.

[11:43] And though, Lord, we might behave, defied with many, many, many, in the good age, of the living, last strong. Yet, lead down our hearts, Lord, the quickening effect, of our grace, that made us to realize, Lord, we are yet dying.

[12:02] And yet, blessed be the Lord, that time of spiritual life, should have brought in our hearts, by the holiday, to be conscious, and by the sovereign, to the dying, make it to the right home, and realize, how far short we've come, and our walk, and our thunder, to do, on December, to meet the rest, and our desires, to have our own idea, to hear the poor, and needed cries, even though, Lord knows, the sun's not open, but their thoughts, are heaven-bought, desiring, the blessing of the Lord, to feed ourselves, with knowledge, and understanding, of the truth, and to be taught, the fear of God.

[12:50] And all that, to the ill fear, Lord, that knowledge is, thine holiness, and majesty, to the knowledge is, Lord, thy greatness, and the Lord, do come.

[13:02] It is a day, of small things, we know, and what a mercy, that we are made sensible, of our sins, and made conscious, Lord, who now alone, can save us, and just punish them, for our sins, when we come to God, do we, in this world, and life, and wickedness, there is that lust, of the flesh, and the pride, of life, in our flesh, Lord, to do, God, that spiritual mind, we want to know, Lord, that we are born again, and that we have, all of our treasure, in our open vessel, that the excellence, of power, may be of God, and of God, oh, what poor things, we are, Lord, in our few, and early eyes, but look upon us, show pretty, Lord, and Lord, again, let repenting, rebel to me, live our life, a faith, my prayer, and though we are, earthy, yet Lord, sometimes we will feel, lifted out of ourselves, lifted up to heaven, lifted to thy word, and thy word,

[14:08] Lord, comforts us, and I've given hope, that it is part of our sins, nor are they to the same, unto the uttermost, all those that come to God, who is it, or all dark days, solemn days, lack more of respect, lack of acknowledge, and the glory, and the glory, even amongst our leaders, and we see thy judgments, in the Lord, in the country, Lord, the blood, the flame, the poor things, all the suffering, even Lord, of the truth, and yet it will, and that will say, Lord, where are those, that are brought, to repent and believe, that these things, might be sanctified, Lord, even us, that look on, and take pity, and feel sorry, for these people, that have, had such losses, to bear, and yet, their lives, have been spared, and crushed, their purposes, and their own lives, through the afflictions, that we might have, had to pass, through the sorrow, and the grief, the happiness, and our Lord's sorrow, in our mind, that do,

[15:20] Lord, upon you, bless us, with a little, painful heart, and I've been missed, that we are able, to say, here too, that the Lord, help us, and Lord, we do depend, upon that hour, that is laid, upon one, that is mighty, to save, even to the uttermost, O do, preserve unto us, Lord, our religious heritage, and gospel liberty, we pray them, and do, send us, prosperity, in our churches, be the case, that we will be young, wise, and racial, and blessed, and deep men, hopefully, that we are, that we are not, left to become, as we are extinct, denomination, that believe, in the word of God, O do, Lord, burn the truth, into our souls, that we might, truly, be known, to hold fast, to perform, the same word, that the truth, taken, and sealed, upon our souls, we do need, life, and life, and liberty, to bring, our souls, out of prison,

[16:23] Lord, that we might, praise you, to realize, Lord, that there are, bad, many things, droids, in our lives, sure comes, and failings, but to pour, on ourselves, too long, lest it, simply, lower, we look, to Jesus, kind, and strong, mercy, upon the power, and mercy, upon our leadership, to, to yet raise up, those that should, acknowledge, the almighty power, of God, through this flood, through this flame, peace, then, Lord, to number their days, that they might, apply their hearts, under heaven, and, to, to observe, these things, that God, the wrath, is upon those, that unite him, and fail him, and turn their backs, upon him, and all, do he have a rise, to this nation, to deliver, and to defray, upon the enemies, to undermine, the Christian faith, with his beggars, to, drive out, these guys, and these fellows, drive out, these evil men, women, even children,

[17:30] Lord, that want to destroy, Christendom, may we yet prove, that the Lord, is not a significant flame, do drive, these people away, to give them, Lord, like our, mighty power, to destroy, the enemies of Christ, and do divide us, in our own souls, to give us, that, faith, to defy the good faith, have paid, and each person, who lay hold, and he turned away, and what a mercy, Lord, if we get the victory, to do all the life, we and my sovereign's eyes, to save us, from death, destruction, and despair, and all do teach us, I feel, and give us, thank you, heartless, mercy, to the people, who don't, and answers, that become afflicted, to get in old age, and turn to the flat, and be with those, that bear, the burn, the heat of the day, to either direct, those Lord, in the business world, help them still, to trust, see the life, open us, and help us,

[18:36] O Lord, to bring our heart, into thee, and do heal them, and then, when we can, no deliverance, and yet still, like, myself, I please, shall be, proportionally, the rest of Jesus, keep it wide, our entrance, and the merit, of that sin, and the money, and the merit, and the merit, and what we do for, and our hope, within you, through the sin, for our aid, and do to do our sin, as we ask you, for Christ's sake, we are in, Amen.

[25:41] As the Lord may be pleased to help me, I will direct you to prayerfully to the Gospel according to Luke chapter 6 and reading verse 21.

[25:57] We naturally hunger and we are fed to keep our bodies alive.

[26:33] It is a commandment to remember the Sabbath day.

[27:09] We come in a physical manner, a physical natural mind manner. If we read the commandments. We are trained up in that way.

[27:21] And sometimes we have forsaken it for a matter of hostage. We have. You turn back. The blessed God bless the Lord for bringing you again.

[27:35] Here this day into this house of prayer. The blessed God made us to realize that the Lord's love and lifted the rain out. The only forgotten Son of God is full of grace.

[27:49] And so he said, he lifted up his eyes on his disciples and said, blessed be ye poor. Yours is the kingdom of God. And so be it.

[28:01] Down to the end of the time to be a disciple of Christ. To be following on to know the Lord. To be seeking to know him. The only true God in Jesus Christ has said, this is them.

[28:16] Cursed is everyone that continues not in the whole book of the Lord, but in the things that contain them in. But all this hunger. We don't hunger naturally.

[28:30] We're very private in Providence. In the days that we live in, there's an abundance of food in the country. Whereas in some countries, there's a great famine.

[28:42] There's a shortage of everything. But this country is overflowing with providential blessings. And it draws them away from the necessity of being made poor and needy spiritually.

[28:59] But mercifully, you see, if you and I have been born again, you'll be quickened into life. You're hungry now.

[29:10] To be filled with the saving knowledge of the dear Son of God. You'll weep now. You will mourn over your sins, in other words.

[29:21] Have you wept at all in the week? Have you sinned? Have you been conscious that you were a sinner in the pure and holy eyes of God?

[29:34] You and I, they got a meeting one day before the judgment seat. How does it affect you and me when I speak of these things? When I think of these things? When you think of these things?

[29:47] Can you say, there's a point I long to know after all this anxious thought. Do I love the Lord or no? We need reality in everything. We need to be born again.

[29:58] We need to be quickened. We need to be exercised right in your mind. I know you have natural thoughts. You have natural things to attend to in your life. But still the carnal mind is enmity to God.

[30:11] Oh, you might be brought here to real the poverty of your soul. In your eye of your understanding enlightened to behold these wonderful things as the Book of the Lord God.

[30:27] The teaching of the Blessed Spirit. We have broken Moses' law. Moses broke them once, didn't he? When he was so trying about the error that made this gold image to worship.

[30:44] And so you and I can soon worship the gold and the silver, the materialistic things that we had provided for us.

[30:56] May we be given that grace in ourselves that we acknowledge God's goodness in providence and to see that we are hungry for something.

[31:07] Crumbs that fall from the master's table. A crumb dear friend. A token of his love for your soul. We are hastening on.

[31:18] Are you prepared to die? Are you prepared to meet your maker? You know, I often think sometimes when my mind does think about these things, you look around you, don't you, in the world.

[31:33] What are they thinking about? More and more of this world's good. What if when there are millions? And they have to lose their soul.

[31:46] You see the foundation of God, send the sure hand and the seal. The Lord knoweth that it is. Oh, may we be given more grace and faith to examine ourselves to see whether we be in the faith of God today.

[32:01] You see, this is the blessing that we hunger. For there is an answer, you shall be filled.

[32:13] Fill with joy and peace and belief. At time of his love. Time of his love. Time to heal. Time for you and me to be strengthened with all might in the inner man, to run patience the way he set before looking unto Jesus, the hope of Israel.

[32:33] We want to know that we're Israelites indeed, in whom there is no guile. And so, we see that these, that he says here, they were thanks with unfeasled and they were healed.

[32:50] The Lord will protect that that concerns your Solomon. You know, we need to hunger. You come with a spirit of prayer in your soul, to hear something profitable in the preaching of the gospel, even with the red sermon.

[33:09] The Lord, bread and milk. You must have released an excellent ride, and go to the after ride.

[33:20] So, we need to bear them up too, if it's there. They might be helped in your absence. So, we're not running away dear friends, but we would like to just visit them in their alterations and see that, and to praise God for the goodness provided for them to have an improvement in the interior of the church up there, which is God honouring.

[33:54] We trust it's God honouring, not for worship. And so, we realise this hunger. This is the object of Zion. That we might truly adore the Lord for what he has done in providing the necessities of his house of God.

[34:13] to restore it, to send a house in order. And yet, there might yet be the Lord that will go in the highways and the byways and compel them to come in, although there's a great falling away, and we'll be so, for true Christianity.

[34:34] But the sons and daughters of God must be called by his grace and we'll be his children then. And they know what it is to have this hunger filled from time to time, frowned in the Master's favour, this precious doctrine of free and sovereign grace accepted in their hearts, and to realise they are nothing.

[35:00] That their poor and needy sinners seeking water and their needs none, and their tongue faileth a thirst, and this is how you come. They are only hungry and thirsting, but the righteousness of Christ.

[35:14] How could you and I live and die in peace without we have a promise bestowed upon us? The promise is that the young and young is God, and if there's love in your heart, you'll long just to keep his commandments, and not be ashamed to own him, and tell all around what the Saviour they all found, and point his redeeming blood, and be sold and behold the way to God.

[35:36] So you see, it's the poor, and the place in the Kingdom, not worthy of his notice, the blessing of the Lord, for he hung on the heaven.

[35:51] And he says, you will come with weeping and supplication, so in tears that you might yet reap in joy. And you know what it is to have fear of a sorrowful spirit.

[36:04] Weeping. We read in one of the hymns that they went their couch with tears. Have you ever done that? Have I? You have wet your couch, your pillow with tears, for your shortcomings, for your frolic, for your sinfulness, for the lust of the flesh, and the pride of your life.

[36:29] You're not worthy of his notice. This one very much so feels at a time. A sorrowful heart, a wretched man that I am.

[36:43] You know what taught that pastor? Who should deliver me from this body of sin and death? If he could say this, when he was filled, I thank God, through the Lord Jesus Christ, through his precious sin and tongue blood, that cleanses me from all sin.

[37:03] This is that religion. And the world of righteous man had and better than the many riches of the wicked. And we see the wickedness of man in the dead age.

[37:16] It's all, dear friends, something exciting for the flesh. And we can get carried away with these things. And we need the Lord to give us the Lord to subdue, the power of the enemy of our souls.

[37:31] And to be blessed with poor and needed. Seeking that living water, and that living bread. Jesus said, I am the bread of life.

[37:43] The that believeth in me shall not hunger, and shall be filled with joy and peace in believing. So this is a mercy.

[37:56] What can we speak of the blessing of the Lord, that might it rage? Yes, you have those, dear friends, that shall hate you.

[38:08] And he said, blessed are ye when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company. In a sense, it's a privilege, dear friends, if they do separate you from their company.

[38:20] That's why how could the two walk together, except they be agreed. And shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the son of man's sake. But we are to rejoice in that day.

[38:33] And sometimes, you hope you've had that experience. You feel they've asked you to scorn, they mock you to despise you.

[38:45] But blessed be the Lord, because this is the blessing. There's no blessing, but the blessing of the Lord, the offense upon you, so when he makes you to lie down and bring past his legion beside the still waters, to restore your soul, which is healing under the sound of the blessing, the gospel truth.

[39:12] Because he has taught you, that you are unwind-thrusting for his righteousness, and waiting to be filled.

[39:24] And then sometimes he does fill you, and then sometimes you prove after as the devil comes in, the enemy lies the flood. And seems to wash away all those precious hopes that you felt the Lord was my body.

[39:41] But this is the pathway of a believer. This is the pathway of tribulation more than it. That it works patience as it sanctifies. We do need our crosses to be sanctified to us, but we're made more mean for the masters use.

[40:01] So can you not feel this? Do you not feel spiritually poverty-stripping? Do you go on waiting and seeking and hoping yet to be granted a blessing to enrich your soul?

[40:16] As we said recently, and speak from it, and I do speak from it sometimes and I will use the night, my sheep hear my voice.

[40:28] Because it needs to be to hear the voice of the good shepherd, not the voice of the stranger, not the voice of those enemies of the truth, which he can not buy and despise him, and tell us all about the circumstances in the universe, and that man has made it work.

[40:50] We forget, and we forget, that God reigns. And he'll make you tremble, I believe, yet over many things in your life.

[41:01] And there will be one particular one that seems to apply you, some special thing that the Lord takes and applies the word to yourself, and it makes you tremble. The majesty of God, who realises his holy heart is undefiled, separate from sinhood.

[41:19] Separate from sinhood, yes, because of his holiness, because of his glory, because of his perfection.

[41:30] And all heaven, how you are then, if you know you're a sinner, separate from sinners. And the word backs me up in that. Holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sin.

[41:45] How can you walk with Christ in your sinfulness? How can you hope to get the victory? How can you hope to get to heaven?

[41:56] When you're in such a state that only Jesus, holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sin, listen folks, we love you for the truth's sake, and trust that the truth will go home to your soul.

[42:12] Especially some of you might be in the balance as to believe in these truths. But it is so, when we read the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus, and he came and suffered, let and died on this sin-stained earth, at the hand of wicked and cruel men, away with and crucify him, and to set it yourself in your actions, if not in words, in your actions.

[42:41] I want to know that the blessing of Jesus to fill you yet with joy and peace in believing, because these are the blessed characters that are going to get to heaven.

[42:52] Those that are cursed, that die of their sins, and have the darkness weeping, and nagging at the, there's two sides to religion. There's those that are born again, and those that are cursed, and condemned already.

[43:09] And they're not tempted. Of course they believe not. Where's your faith? Where's mine? Faith in the marriage of Jesus. And so, blessed be ye the founder.

[43:21] Jesus has spoken in, and what he said would be brought to pass, for all of his sheep will be brought to Christ.

[43:32] And so, you'll come and weep it. He brings the heart of mine with your heart of mine, he breaks your heart, and yet he doesn't leave you there in his, in his kindness.

[43:46] A good shepherd of sheep, but he gives his life for the sheep. And this is your only hope of mine, that he has brought you with a price, that he's atoned in love to you.

[43:59] You may be going on seeking many days, months, even years, before the Lord delivers you. Then thou canst no deliverance see, yet still, this man, this man I'm pretty sure to.

[44:18] No peace to the wicked. And so we do need the Lord to come, don't we? To say, my peace I lead with you. This is the blessing of the Lord, that enriches your soul and mine, because he says it, and it's here black and white, and it will be applied and sealed upon your soul.

[44:40] You hunger now, for she yet be filled with you. It is, dear friends, maybe yet time for you to know this love, to know this evidence that he has blessed you with a hunger.

[44:58] They that wait upon the Lord, you see, with this hunger, should renew their strength, they should mount up their wings and needles, they shall roam, not be weary, they shall walk and not claim.

[45:10] Blessed be the Lord, the poor and needless. Are we poor enough? Are we ministered poor, low enough, to lift up our eyes under the hills and whence cometh our health, and acknowledge our health cometh and God which made them better?

[45:30] Blessed be you, poor. Lord, you'd rather choose rather than me. But you're all people in the house of my God and be well and fenced of the wickedness.

[45:44] And we've known the fenced of wickedness, and we must acknowledge it. For the Lord of Time's past. What has God wrong?

[45:55] For your soul and mine. What have they done for your soul and my soul? Why? He's given you a hope, hasn't he?

[46:06] And your eyes are fixed upon Jesus. Lord, reveal thy love to me. Apply the word to the weeping sinner. Weeping and mourning over your sins.

[46:21] And after Jesus. Let's Jesus reveal thy love to me. Show me a token of thy love. Speak peace and pardon me. I'm hastening on.

[46:32] Hastening on. I don't know what a game ain't been for. You know, you'll never escape God's wrath if you think you can take your own life.

[46:46] And then we think of these poor things that are left to do that. I mean still my finger. There's that there is. I mean by Simons.

[46:57] You've lived a suicide, everything, nothing. I mean by the name of一定 bear, that suppose God has given you heart. I see God's wilding people and��ム. Inrangi. Absolutely. Be, you've been blessed and helped with a lion. A horse that officials me know God's death. Shore part.

[47:08] Someone now comes up. Movie. That's all right. Okay, Jesus, say all you found God's world. For God have foreverucht A, Bang? he says, and this is our mercy of the chosen vessels, they might you might be called, but he says, we shall hunger, these are the chosen people, they're not worthy of God's notice, they're worthy of death, because of their attitude, but he says, ye shall hunger one of you that laugh, therefore ye shall mourn and weep we did it, the other wise weeping and supplication, Lord, leave me not no overtaken, but say to my soul, I am no salvation give me patience to tarry, I let you then wait the appointed hour for the vision is yet from the appointed time no tarry, wait for it, wait for it you know it's me, full of the sinner, that comes with weeping and supplication
